An ambitious, tangled conglomeration of songs, many of which defined their catalog and era

Meh. Interesting to hear a different side of the trio as someone who knew them better in the 80’s-90’s but not radically different from other white blues artists to my ears

At its best, on par with other grungy fare from this time. But overall less polished than many of their contemporaries. Feels like music folks cling to because it makes them different...

Seems like something that would make me smile to hear again if I’d been into it in the 80’s…but not keep on for long

Fascinating to hear them at this stage of their career. You can almost feel the band pushing against the constraints of the packaged sound they were being asked/told to create as a foreshadowing of the instrument destruction that was to come...

Blast from the past. Crunching hook-laden riffs. Inane lyrics. Fun ride!

A&R folks were way more adventurous in the late 70's. Very cool to hear this band on the front end of their development...
