Amnesiac
RadioheadI just don't get it. I know lots of people are just crazy about this stuff, but I just don't get it. I hate everything about it.

Liked the overall vibe. Could listen to it again for sure.
This is not for me. Some of the piano pieces are nice. But overall way too slow, and sad, and not my thing.
Overall pretty good. I don't think I'm going to become a Springsteen fan, but a number of songs I liked.
Still not super into Rolling Stones. Like the hits at the beginning and the end, but not all that into what happens in the middle.
Easy 5 stars here, great album
This is interesting. Not sure where to place it but I like it. Has some pretty industrial moments. Has some moments that feel PWEI-ish. A few songs could be a bit shorter, but I'd say a solid 3.75 stars.
Initially liked the 2nd half more than the first half. Listened to the first two songs in the car and liked them on the second play more I think. There's also a Leftism 22 album with remixes that I want to listen to. overall this was fun to learn about.
I like Wish You Were Here but the rest is only okay. It's not bad, just not as interesting as other Pink Floyd.
Solid 4, good classic Green Day.
Just not into MJ. I'm sure its great, but not for me.
Not a big disco person. It was enjoyable. I didn't mind listening, had some good jazzy type moments. Not a genre that I really dive into much though.
Not bad. Was never super into Hole, but there's a couple songs that I liked.
This album has the theme song for Deadliest Catch so this is an automatic 5 stars. Overall this is a pretty epic album.
Solsbury Hill is great. Not sure about the rest so far.
Too country for me. It isn't horrible, I'm just not Scott.
It is hard to go wrong with Paul McCartney. I like that his solo stuff sounds distinctly different than The Beatles. That isn't always easy to do. "Band on the Run", "Mrs. Vanderbilt", and "Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five" all made it to the playlist.
Not a fan. I kind of get the cultural significance of this Post-punk period of time. I think there's other examples of this genre that are just better, like Siouxsie and the Banshees, or Joy Division. I get the idea of breaking all the norms and just doing whatever you want, but in the end I don't want to just be assaulted with sounds.
Definitely makes sense why this is included. Can see the bridge from 80s rock into the 90s rock with this album. Feels like a very mid 90's album yet was released in 89. Has a number of solid songs, also has a number that aren't super great and are too long.
Not my thing.
Solid early punk rock. Mixing in saxophone at times is not what you'd expect from punk rock but it works. "Germ Free Adolescents" was my top.
This was a little too same same for me. This string of british punk rock may also not have helped. I'd take X-Ray Spex over this. The punk rock rendition of "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" was interesting...though I'd probably listen to the original over this.
I don't mind Big Band stuff. The slower stuff gets a little boring for me, the swingier up tempo stuff is better.
Never can really get into Lynyrd Skynyrd. It's good overall, but not my top from this era.
meh, some if it was okay. a lot of it just kind of drones on forever is what it felt like to me.
Becoming a parent has definitely made me old and curmudgeonly. I liked Bombs Over Baghdad, but in general I just can't do all the cursing and bad language anymore.
Can you really go wrong with "Monday, Monday" and "California Dreamin'"? I also liked "Straight Shooter" and "Hey Girl". Some good stuff.
Some of the string accompaniment isn't bad. I'm not into his whole vocal style. Didn't find anything to be all that ground breaking.
Yeah, still not into rap. I didn't mind "Sacrifice" but that was about it.
The first few were kind of entertaining in a this stuff is pretty silly these days. That wore off pretty fast. The jesus stuff at the end is not for me.
Has some pretty great hits from start to finish. This was a good listen.
These were some chill ass beats and I loved it. "Poor Leno" and "Remind Me" were my top.
Wasn't bad, just don't remember too much that was all that noteworthy. "How High" was my favorite.
"Perfect Day" and "Satellite of Love" were the tops for me though I liked a bunch of the tracks. Overall I thought it was a pretty fun album
I like it. It's a fun sound, bunch of songs I liked.
I liked the first half quite a lot. That had some good chill beats but they stayed interesting. The 2nd half seemed to get slower and weirder as it went on.
I tried really hard but by the 3rd song this was giving me a crazy migraine
I just don't get it. I know lots of people are just crazy about this stuff, but I just don't get it. I hate everything about it.
Not for me
It has bursts of interest, but then long cycles of putting me to sleep. As an album I don't know, definitely liked some of the songs.
This was a fun album. I like this style of using sampling in fun ways.
I thought this was great. The name of the album is a winner to start. I thought there were a lot of good songs, some great hooks, lots of likes on this one.
Yeah not for me. A song here and there weren't horrible but an entire album was too much.
Hotel California is great, but after that I don't know there were too many other songs that I was into.
It was okay but it was certainly no The Smiths. That is also a pretty hard act to follow because The Smiths were amazing.
Probably wouldn't mind a lot of this if it wasn't these insanely long live versions. Way too long and drawn out and way too much screaming. I'm also not into the scream singing, it's just giving me a headache.
Vintage RHCP, what's not to like?
I liked one song, forget which, but overall was kind of meh.
Pretty meh. Some was okay but overall it all sounded pretty much the same.
Had some okay stuff, but is there anything that new or groundbreaking?
Buried Alive In the Blues was probably my favorite song. The other stuff was okay for me.
That's a pass for me.
Another solid album with some nice chill beats. I enjoyed it. Dirge and Flying were some likes.
Too snooze-fest for me
Probably one of my favorite albums ever, it's just the best. I still think I have my original Smash CD around here somewhere.
I've never been a big Dylan person, but also wasn't all that familiar with much of his stuff. Overall I liked it. I thought the first half was more interesting. Tangled up in Blue is a great start. I also like Idiot Wind, after that it dragged on a little bit.
This one was more of a miss for me. I didn't think the music itself was all that complex or interesting. A few different guitar chords on each song. I think its mostly the lyrics that are supposed to be so great, but it just kind of droned on and on. I get they are powerful like "Masters of War", but I got bored.
There were a couple okay tracks. Overall I found the album a bit boring. The songs are all too long and too loopy. I'm okay with some loops, but there wasn't enough to break them up and keep them interesting.
I liked a bunch of these songs. I feel like it kind of influenced things like TMBG, took some influence from The Smiths. The lyrics can be a little silly, but they're fun and the music is good so it makes up for it. It was a fun ride.
Alright this was just miserable. I don't know what is going on. I tried but the first song was like 10 minutes about some honey bear, I don't know, not fo rme.
It was fine just a bit boring to me.
This was pretty decent. I'd heard Pretty in Pink before but not really any of their other stuff. Man this british post-punk period was seriously into saxophone.
Some stuff was okay. I think if the songs were half the length it would have been better. They get a bit too loopy and repetitive when they're 6 minutes long.
Bangers from start to finish.
Stand and Orange crush are obviously pretty good, Pop Song 89 was okay, most of the others are kind of whatever. Would probably say 3.5, but can't, so 3.
This was okay, I listened to it a couple days ago and I don't remember anything sticking out really
