Rings Around The World
Super Furry Animalsliked this at the time, but now can't really remember much about it. doesn't quite have the staying power for me

i mean, such a classic. truly never gets old
just not for me!
surprised at not hating this, despite my lifelong disdain for stone roses
just incredible feat of cross-culture music-making, as well as being full of bangers
so good. great beats great jams
a new one! very cool very chill. great vibes to this as well as great musicianship
what a voice. so warm and smooth. like a gentle hug
got some real bangers in it, and love the aesthetic of the whole thing. sounds like music made by factory mechanisms. but sometimes it was a little too stylistic, it could fade into thumps and clangs too often
SUCH good britpop. feels of the moment, but also timeless. good solid album
so eclectic, i could barely keep track. i'd place one genre and then it'd move on swiftly to something else. all incredibly striking musicianship though, i enjoyed it a lot
one of my all-time fav bands, so insta-5 star for me. unreal voice, unreal lyricism, unreal musicianship. love these boyz
very beastie boys. not entirely my thing but i respect what they're doing
wish i hadn't got this and ill communication back-to-back, because they kind of just blended into one another. did find this one more fun though! felt like you could hear their joy through the record
this is SO beatles, so that endeared me to it no end. loved the jaunty wee numbers, v melodic and cohesive. good shit
longer and proggier than i expected. what a voice that guy has. solid
sure was a björk album. actually enjoyed this more than i thought i would, v vibey
i just don't like peter gabriel
bit samey, nothing stood out
also samey but this time with stand-outs. got a bunch of great pop songs mixed in with other songs that sound like the pop songs
enjoyed this! not what i was expecting but in a good way. quite eclectic
good stuff, v cohesive and melodic
not for me - but 'nothing else matters' slaps
SO good. love the blend of r&b, hip-hop and reggae. lauryn hill's voice is unreal. top tier
groovy maaaaaan
what a talent
liked this at the time, but now can't really remember much about it. doesn't quite have the staying power for me
a surprise! loved the flow of this, great beats
LOVED this! wasn't on spotify so had to youtube it and am so glad i did. unreal funk beats, so smooth, so clean, so joyous. just had so much fun with this. title track especially is an incredible ear worm, doesn't feel like seven and a half minutes at all. need this on spotify !!!
it's my boys again! forgot how industrial this one is compared to 'closer'. anyway five stars
this just kind of washed over me in a sea of noise and i didn't take anything away from the experience
no
disco baby!!!!
beautiful words and hushed whispers and guitar melodies
bop-filled but a little forgettable
better than the last pj harvey joint
pretty good! never listened go steely dan properly before, can see why they're so beloved
think this is my favourite elliott smith - his music, lyrics, production is all on point in this one
no idea how to evaluate this. quite free-form and experimental, but i did like it. i think
i mean, such a classic. truly never gets old
stuffed full of bangers. long songs but still manages to feel tight. robert plant's voice is unreal
liked this so much i listened to it twice. what a voice
good production and actual musicality but those voices man. so dull. ruin the vibe completely. they sound like they'd rather be somewhere else, telling a bored person at a party about how actually they think everyone's mind and spiritual wellbeing would benefit from doing acid
gooooood vibes. great voice, wonderful basslines throughout, lots of bops
not my favourite smiths, feels v short and some of the songs rly pass you by. still great though
pretty vibey! great tunes
talented musicians here but it largely passed me by
really really not for me. butt rock at its finest
SO fucking good. oozes cool. debbie harry's voice is just unbelievable, and every single song is an absolute bop. the drums on this thing are insane. big big love
