Faust IV
FaustIt ain’t that good
It ain’t that good
Most of the songs on the this album don’t really go anywhere and are not helped by the mumbling rambling vocals. It’s punk with none of the kick
Classic talking heads album, some good, some boring. Take me to the river goes hard
Coming out strong with Burnout showing the clean punk sound for the whole album, Green day’s best work imo. No skips throughout, I’m abit biased. Turning the volume up F.O.D for it being too quiet in the first half then getting blasted, classic.
Don’t mind a good female fronted punk band, sussing out the wiki only got three members so that’s pretty impressive. I’m sure a lot of triple j bands take inspiration from this
U2 always been eh for me can’t change my mind, Some classic triple m songs on this one tho
Up my alley for whiney vocals but nothing stand outs as being a super interesting album. Saved Live forever and Married with children for the playlist rotation but other than those it’s abit lacklustre. Bonus on having a sweet looking album cover
Solid album a lot more filled out than the last one. A lot of classics on it
Whole range ehhs no massive 80’s hitters for me. Quite boring throughout the album. Only redeeming song is Someone somewhere and even that’s just alright
Just plain sucked, she still tours tho
Just not my jam
Very weird album through and through. How are these in a 1001 list
A very 80’s synth heavy album. Little red corvette is one of princes best
Never considered myself a jazz/blues fan but I enjoyed every minute of this. Gonna go against my usual studio is better than live and say that the live is definitely better than the studio tracks. Gonna consider getting this in a vinyl format next time I see it. Also album cover’s colour contrast is noiicee
Today I found out the piano in Susan’s house is sampled for Pez and 360’s Festival song interesting. The first half of this album is better than the second half
For being pre 70’s it goes alright, Nothing really stick outs to me but interesting that there isn’t a remaster for this
Abstract junk. Why do we put our selves through this
It’s not his best work in my opinion but there’s some great ones on here. Way better than his new stuff
Yeah I don’t love but I don’t hate it, goes alright
Abit boring, their other work is way better
Bring on the good albums!!
It ain’t that good
Damn he got a nack for storytelling, Would listen again
Sounds abit like grateful dead just not as good, Pretty good overall would listen again
I went into this thinking I’d like this more than I actually did. Average
The album cover had me thinking I was going into a country or a classic rock type album then the first play is a 90’s underground club soundtrack. Goes alright for the genre
Had a fair amount of good song in this, would listen again. Give it a 3.5 if I could
Vocals can quiet at stages and overall mixing all of the place but otherwise too terrible
Triple m type music, eh
Can’t get more 80’s than this. Would give it 3 stars but no matter how much Running up that hill gets overplayed it’s still a great song, bumped it up to 4 stars
Moving pictures got some great songs, YYZ (Boss fight theme) and limelight is just a banger can’t go wrong. THEN you flip the record to side B and it’s all average songs that don’t tickle my fancy. I reckon the band would’ve been more popular if the frontman actually looked good, ain’t no chicks going for that. Also the start of YYZ sounds like a bunch of spanners in a draw
Listened to this on my 1am drive home, Was a good time for this
Wouldn’t know what the second half of that album sounds like, didn’t get that far.
I always hear about this being highly rated but never fully listened to it, This is a great album can’t complain. All revved up and no place to go is relatable
In the right mood will go alright
Not too shabby if that’s what ya into but nothing that really gets me going
Not their best work but for the year it’s pre good. Paul’s cheesy songs are great
A classic R.E.M album with my favourite song of theirs “It’s the end of the world as we know it” That be a good karaoke song to learn
Not horrible but not interesting in the slightest. Frequently found myself zoning it out
Absolute mint album, First time fully listening to it and the first song is so good, most of the classics are on this. P.S Ay liam Bennie and the jets is still great song
Ehh
