Elliott SmithI thought this was pretty boring
I thought this was pretty boring
Oh, this album has THAT song I wasn't sure about the first few songs, then around Gigantic I started getting into it. After Cactus it went back to just being okay, but I liked the last song
idk
👍

Not my thing. I liked some songs, but didn't really care for Sufjan's vocals. I don't see myself coming back to this album
It's no Orange Juice, but it's not bad. I found it a little boring though
I expected to not like this that much, but I mostly enjoyed it. Probably will listen again sometime
I actually liked this quite a bit. Not all the songs are bangers, but I really liked When I Get to the Border, The Title Track, We Sing Hallelujah, The Little Beggar Girl, and The Great Valerio. I thought it was a little funny that Richard and Linda each sang a song about how much the world sucks, but the End Of The Rainbow is a little ridiculous; quit telling that newborn baby its life is going to be miserable, Richard, read the room.
I don't know, this just didn't do it for me. I didn't like most of the album, but the songs that I thought were pretty good were Heroin, The Black Angel's Death Song, Tomorrow's Parties, and I'll Be Your Mirror. I might listen to more Nico, I liked her singing.
I thought this was pretty boring
I was hoping this was the album with "Love Is the Drug" on it. Either way, I mostly liked what I heard.
Better than Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome
I've always associated Coldplay with U2 for some reason, I don't know, they just remind me of each other. I also got Snow Patrol and Coldplay confused sometimes when I was young. Anyway, I prefer Coldplay to U2, and thought this was an okay album; the first half was pretty good, but then I kind of zoned out in the middle before it picked up a bit at the end.
This album is Ohio rizz /pos (I'm so sorry) A super fun album from start to finish. I need to listen to more Devo. My favorite song on this is Shrivel-Up
When I started listening to this, it sounded kind of familiar. That was because The Girl From Ipanema and most of the other songs on this album were written by Antônio Carlos Jobim (with piano played by him). I listened to one of his albums, Matita Perê, a few years ago, because I really liked the song Águas de Março. However, while I do love The Girl From Ipanema and Águas de Março, I feel like they are both songs that outshine the rest of the album they're part of. The other songs are still pretty good, but didn't stand out to me as much. Maybe that will change if I listen to this more, which I'll happily do because this music is very pleasant. P.S. go to the Wikipedia article for this album and read the fourth paragraph under the Recording and Composition section
I feel bad giving this a low score, but it just didn't do much for me. It's About That Time gets a 4 though
I thought this was alright. My favorite tracks were Put It Down and Price Tags. I also listened to the bonus tracks from the deluxe edition. I didn't like them as much as the standard edition tracks, but I'm not considering the deluxe tracks in my rating.
I liked this more than Surfer Rosa
No
Pretty solid album. Would probably be a 5 for me if not for side three and a couple songs in the first half
I like how it sounds, but I think it's too long
When I started this I thought "oh, this isn't as boring as I expected", but then it went on, and on, and on with the same shit, feeling much longer than its 44 minute runtime. Most songs were just okay, but the mediocre cover of Pennies From Heaven was disappointing, and I really didn't like Makin' Whoopee.
Pretty impressive for a hip hop album made by a second century warlord
My favourite moment in this album happens around 3:22 on I'll Hold You In My Heart
When I looked at the tracklist, I thought the song title There Goes the Fear seemed familiar, and then I instantly recognized the song when it started. Friday's Dust was also pretty cool. I really liked this album, I'll definitely listen to it again
I don't know, this just wasn't very captivating to me 5/10
I really enjoyed this! The part in Girl VII where it says a whole bunch of place names was a highlight, and Nothing Can Stop Us was my favourite track
