Who wants what darker?
First listen to Santana, I really expected something else. There were some enjoyable moments especially with the guitar, also the jazz parts, I don’t know exactly how to describe them. It was interesting and new I’ll probably warm up to it eventually. 7.5/10, the expectations I had ruined the initial experience, thankfully I listened to it more, admittedly it’s quite good.
It’s good.
Never even heard of this band, only metal I ever listened to was Iron Maiden. Didn’t expect any more or less, quite repetitive I wouldn’t call it noise, I think more than anything it’s not my thing. I do hope however, to listen to more of this artist I think they could do a lot better. 6.5/10.
Different from the jazz I’ve listened to, electrics and synths were nice.
Not a fan.
Not a genre I would listen to that much. What you would expect an 80s metal band first album would sound like, but better. Was great for its time, a bit dated nowadays. Vocals were good, great instrumentals, the songwriting was pretty simple most times but that’s not really a bad thing actually might be for the best, probably not something this album would be best known for.
Didn’t listen to the full album fan of Eminem in general though.
First Introduction to Steely Dan, it’s pretty nonsensical, almost always a piano or some sort of keyboards, the harmony vocals and jazzy instruments mixed with late 60s sounding rock gave it quite an interesting sound. Great album overall, I’d rate it 4.5, unbiasedly it’s probably more like a 4.0 or 3.5. It’s a good album but admittedly I like it better than it actually is, + album standouts: Rikki Don’t Lose That Number, Any Major Dude Will Tell You, With A Gun, Charlie Freak and Monkey In Your Soul, honorable mention to East St. Louise Toodle-Oo, not one the best tracks but one of my favorites.
Quite short spanning only 30 minutes though ten songs I suppose it is a typical LP for the decade and origin, although I would’ve expected two more. Aretha’s voice gives a different style to classics, no version better than the other. Great use of background vocals, created a mix of her voice and instruments included. Standouts: Chain of Fools, (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, Come Back Baby and Sweet Sweet Baby. Honorable mention: People Get Ready and Good to Me As I Am to You. Rating: 8.0/10, really enjoyable songs I rank this really high overall.
Not my first listen to Tom Petty, still not that familiar. Sounds pretty typical for the decade, I do like that he wrote most if not all the songs, his best works are definitely not here but anyone can tell it has great potential, would like to listen to other albums and works in the near future. Standouts: Breakdown, American Girl, Rockin’ Around (With You). Honorable Mention: Anything That’s Rock ‘N’ Roll. Overall rating: 6.5/10, good album I enjoyed it, mostly but I wouldn’t choose to put it on.
I enjoyed the little songs I listened to, don’t like hip-hop much. Objectively I think it’s good might actually listen to it after a while.
I appreciate how they “keep” their own sound but really the songs aren’t that distinct from each other, it’s really the songwriting that’s a little different. Not actually a bad thing I just expected something else. The harmonies and instruments didn’t help, the formula got a bit old fast but it works really well for a few tracks. OaARaT: 7.5/10, there’s some really good songs off it but, the album in general, it’s good, could be better.
Electronic noise has gotten far since The Beatles.
Blinky’s musical daydream. (It actually sounds like meditation music mostly)
Vocals: The range of voices work and harmonize well. Songwriting:it’s not crazy, nor is it predictable, in a good way. AR: 8/10
Didn’t think it would be so enjoyable.
I genuinely think Gallagher could start his own solo career, I mean what does the other one do, write songs and play guitar or whatever?
This album made me vegetarian. -Ninonin Theone
Type of jazz I really enjoy. Drums and piano are always wonderful, it was really relaxing to listen to to. Overall I’d say 9/10 great tracks, not too many, they’re a bit long and completely instrumental, so I’m sure not everybody would like it as much as I.
Though I appreciate New Wave I don’t quite dig it, it’s rarely gotten right after all. That is the reason for which I fancy ‘Violator’ so much. Favorites: Enjoy the Silence, World in My Eyes, Sweetest Perfection. Dislikes: none actually, all tracks are at least 7/10 or more -Ninonin Theone.
Didn’t I do it for you 🥺. 3.5
It’s good, I can see this being someone’s favorite album.
It’s good.
Not much I can say, it’s really good. Classic style of Bob Dylan harmonica, guitar, great lyrics. One of my favorite and one of his best. 10/10
Who the hell is Rod Stewart?

No doubt a great soul album, really, not only soul, but jazz, funky instrumentals too. A perfect groovy vibe I really dig. 9/10 -Ninonin Theone.

Far from their best work, Waterloo Sunset however…
It’s not revolutionary, it’s not bad, it’s not great but it’s good enough. -N.O
Would enjoy the album more if it were just the first track.
Considering it’s their debut album it’s rather impressive, considering it’s not, it still holds up quite well. While ‘Clint Eastwood’ is considered the best track off it, even by me, I still think it’s hilariously awkward how the rap section came in. Album started to drag a bit after the second half. Side note, some tracks actually remind me of Glass animals. Favorites: Tomorrow Comes Today, Clint Eastwood, Sound Check (Gravity). Dislikes: Clint Eastwood, Rock the House. 6/10
Fortunately enough, not my favorite band.
I believe the compilation is; Vento de Maio, Sai Dessa, Tiro Ao Álvaro, Só Deus E Quem Sabe, O Que Foi Feito Devera, Nova Estação, Calcanhar de Aquiles, Outro Cais, Rebento, O Trem Azul, O Medo de Amar e o Medo de Ser Livre, Se Eu Quisar Falar Com Deus, Aprendendo a Jogar. The official one isn’t on Apple Music don’t know about Spotify. If it is, 😔👌🔥
Imagine my surprise when I found there actually were lyrics for each track.
Actually a banger.
1. I prefer The “Hopping” Grasshoppers 2. Don’t expect whats on the tin, not anywhere on the album can there be heard a cricket chirping, let alone a band of ‘em. 3. …….cricket…..cricket…they’re supposed to be chirping.
Absolute banger to sleep to.
Nooooooo
Only currency I know is dollar $$$ (And British people aren’t real.)
I’ve got nothing, is it generic or am I just at a loss of words, that is the question.
I like Eminem a lot ❤️🔥❤️
Keep falling asleep so haven’t listened much but pretty sure this is peak.
I wanna cut my ears off, eat them and head to the toilet.
All bad jokes and puns need to stop they’re boring.🤨 Badum tss
It’s good but I can’t appreciate it.
Most songs on the album lasts 1 day, 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59.000009 seconds.
Ear massage.
Ear massage.
I love you.
Funny album
Don’t take it seriously and you’ll enjoy it more, Sweet gene vincent goes unironically hard though.
It’s perfectly average. 2.5
They didn’t sing about food as much as I would’ve liked.
Ahh! So violent my ears are bleeeding. 😐 Rhcp but they’re not as excited or maybe more excited
It’s bad but not that bad but actually that bad
Most people who claim they hate country are talking about the modern version of it, pop with a southern accent and an acoustic in the background (morgan wallen), a more appropriate name for that by the way would be pop(with country influences). 3.5
Very nice moments 3.5
It’s not Muzak, it was good for its time. People just forgot how to appreciate it. It’s not for everyone that’s for sure but to call it soulless or generic, that’s just plain wrong. 3.5
Idk the lore and it’s impressive for the 70s but Imagine if it were named pan Europe express. That’s it.
Im going to a disco party every week from now on.
Idk what Jimi on that covers fire
I don’t remember but I’m sure it’s good
