Starts really slow and stays slow
Secrets is a beautiful song
haunting and meandering
Not particularly exciting first half of an album
Some lovely soundscapes though
A forest is a great tune
Not a fan of the singers voice on this album
Very haunting and atmospheric throughout, but a little boring
Love the title and artwork
Freedom is an absolute banger
Great funky instrumentation that is varied throughout
Really strong opening few tracks
Continues to be banging pretty much all the way through.
Great album
Awesome Production
Re-listened a bunch so must be good
Thin Line Is Great
Great instrumentation and production
Very feel good
Very well made and a great album full of classic songs but just lacks a certain something that would make it 5 stars and I swouldnt register to the album.
Love this album
Listened to it loads
Funky as shit
Bass, keys and horns go so hard on this album
Few songs seemed to go on for a minute or so too long
It's just ace
Like the anarchist lyrics
Love the high energy
Production not the most clear or interesting
The album is relentless
Police and thieves and janie Jones are the best tunes on the album
Great composition
As a whole not bad
preferred it on the second listen
Proper high energy opening
The singers falsetto is just terrible.
Simple effective riffs coupled with a harsh toned lead bring the excitement
With it being a live album the mix is pretty terrible, especially in the low end, like where is it?
Like the singers gravel voice, couples well with the energy, very clash like although less rhythmic and not quiet as relentless with some nicer guitar parts
Muddy AF and quiet difficult to enjoy.
I think if this was recorded in a studio it could have been really enjoyable because there is some really nice guitar and the drumming was high energy, I just really struggled to hear the bass and the drums at times because they were either lost or became too overpowering
the album art is wicked
The emotion is palpable in the performance and you can feel the singers intensity throughout.
Lead guitar carry's the band
All in all I'd give it a high 2
They call him the king of pop for a reason
A lot of bangers
Interesting instrumentation and arrangements coupled with immaculate production and Michael Jacksons one of a kind voice
However there are some tracks that didn't quiet hit the mark, and because of that it isn't a 5. Also he touched kiddies and there are one too many hee hees
Album holds up amazingly well
Sounds great and has some really nice vibes
Just a little samey most of the way through but it doesn't get boring
She's got a great voice
Sounds like speedy west had a hand in this album
I like how it tells a story throughout the album.
Love the instrumentation
Hated the first few tunes
Find kendricks rapping to be nauseating
Art of peer pressure is decent
Hated it at first listen, enjoyed it more second listen. I just find kendricks rapping annoying
So many beautiful harmony's
Brian Wilson is a pioneer and a master of his craft.
Cabin essence is an amazing song
The Super dreamy atmosphere at times makes parts the album bordering on boring
Rio is the best opening song to an album I've heard so far, am bias because it's one of my favourite songs ever.
Bass tone is awesome
The songs cleverly link and call back to each other
That bass carries everything, fuck it's a lovely tone
One of my favourite albums ever Banger after banger high energy interesting music. Just something about it tickles my brain
Bob Dylan is an amazing song writer
He should stop trying to play the harmonica
Great lyricism, there is a good reason why so many artists cover bob Dylan songs
I actually enjoy his slightly whiny singing voice.
Often the instrumentation is good until the harmonica then it's just horrendous.
Every song on here is great right before the harmonica kicks in, that's it's borderline unlistenable
Basically whenether anyone else plays a Dylan song they do it better than him. So top marks for writing, he's just abit shit At performing
Awesome riffs, great vocals and the bass goes hard too
Have a heavy bias as I get up with this album.
So many classics
Gets worse towards the end and there are a few skips
High energy
Some of the songs are banging
There are a few skips though and monnof the tunes are as good as sabotage which is an absolute bop
Rappers voice can be annoying and it's hard to tell the difference between them.
All around pretty fun high energy album
Most of the stuff on here is better than their hits.
Enjoyed listening to it whilst working.
Leave home is a banger.
I understand that the repetitiveness is part of the genre however it does get a little tiresome after a while
First song is pretty good
Not a good album to work too
Nice melody's but not particularly catchy and very low energy
really poignant lyrics
lovely harmony's
I enjoyed every song as single tracks, however as an album it grew a little tiresome towards the mid point.
A lot of the songs are very samey, they are very good tracks but listening to 12 songs straight was not enjoyable towards the end, they are not quiet Brian Wilson
Starts Strong, end strong. Time of the season is a great song
First few songs are pretty good, in my time of dying was enjoyable but very Very drawn out. Wish the bass was knocked up a notch
Love some slide guitar
The drummer is very good, zeppelin are very much a drummers band I feel
Like.
houses.of the holy is good
Whys he chatting about custard pies
Kashmir is a great song for the first 3-4 mins and then it becomes too drawn out
Great singer
I feel Like alot of the songs are too long and get a little repetitive towards the end, this does make the songs quiet catchy though
Trampled under foot is an ace
It's got alot of good songs but andecent amount to dislike aswell so it's quiet hard to give it a very high score but it's done just enough to get a 4 in my book
Vocals seem a little loud and shrill on the first song
I like the madness
it's very punky and indie.
The 2nd song is mad, I kinda like it but it might take a few Listens to proper enjoy it.
The album art is perfect for this album
It's very unique, this makes it hard to listen too, however I think it has the potential to grow on me
Fetch the bolt cutters is pretty good.
The album. Is haunting
She is a good singer and her lyrics are smart
She loves her bizzare rhythms, certainly keeps the listener on there toes
Album began to drag, its mad but it is predictably unpredictable and alotnof the songs follow a similar pattern of madness
She is a good singer
I thought I would enjoy the album after the first few songs but then it became annoying to listen to after about the halfway point
Only the title track I enjoyed enough to add it to my playlist, I skipped through alot of the songs because they just didn't catch my attention. Might have to give it another listen.
This album sounds like ADHD
Upon the second listen I actually enjoyed a whole lot more, the 2nd half still dragged a liitle but the first half I found enjoyable and mad
Honestly it's just shot, nothing interesting here, the songs are crappie and formulaic and there isn't even anything bizzare weird or fun anout it, very dull. Couldn't even finish it
Strong start, love me some synthetic pop
Motion Sickness into , How do you do? into Don't Deny Your Heart. Building up to Look at where we are. Almost as good as it gets
Proper enjoyed all the songs on the first half
Night and day got me shmoovin'
This album is banging, Not Sure I can fault anything on it and basicaly every single song is awesome and went straight on my playlist. So not sure I can give it anything other than 5 stars for that
Lovely guitar
His voice can at times be a little of putting
Nice, interesting compositions
Overall a really nice jazzy folky interesting album
The beats are funky
The rapping feels dated
Bass slaps hard thoe, like really hard
Song 2 is a great song
alot of the songs are not that great on disc 1 of the album
Death of a party has a nice little bass line
the album is very industrial sounding
I liked the charm of You're so great
Many of the songs on here are bad, although it is quiet and eclectic collection
Like this album, it's very unique, although it is.my least favourite goerilaz album, Clint Eastwood and tomorrow comes today are amazing tunes
Going into this album I already knew that enter sandman and nothing else matters were timeless tunes, so I was very interested to hear what else this album had in store.
The songs on here that are good are timeless classics.
but there are a few duds. Metallica have a sound that I do not particularly enjoy.
The God that failed is a good song
I enjoyed powder finger
I felt like this album was a wanna be bob Dylan singing mediocre songs about native Americans. Only one or 2 songs grabbed me and I found it to be dull for the most part.
The first 3 tracks are great
Bbbbbbenny and the jets!
very good all the way through
liked it alot more than anticipated
Not my favourite talk talk album non of the tunes particularly stood out on a first listen. Nothing particularly offensive about it either
It was a nice album, I think under the riffs
Ght circumstances I could have really enjoyed it. Worth another listen for sure. Upon further listen I enjoyed it more and more. Her voice is so soulful and the atmosphere of the recording really makes you feel like your in a dark jazz bar sipping beer. Very nice album,
Fun rapping, can't say I was overly enamoured by it.
Thus album is such a mixed bag, some of the songs i enjoyed, like redondo beach but the vast majority I struggled to either finish. It is interesting at the very least, and might take a lot of listen to like but so far I am not a fan at all
A fun album that is kinda dumb with one of the single most annoying singers I've ever heard.
Every song on here I'd ace, and it defined a genre. Bass could be louder. But doesn't take sway from the album
It's a perfectly fine album, was probably amazing in its time. I enjoyed my generation and it's not true. Lots of variety but mixed in with that quiet a few chaff songs. I think if I were to have listened to this album in a different setting I would have enjoyed it more. I'll probs register at some point but for now it's a 3.
Solid album, renegade is the best tune on it. Would probably listen to it again as it was funky with very little down spots
Awesome catchy album, full of hits.
Nice few tunes. Some of the songs are rather epic sounding although there are a few duds. Trafalgar, isreal were highlights. Was expecting a more disco vibe. Lead singing sings like kermit, I do like kermit though. Don't wanna love inside myself is wishy washy but a beautiful song though as it builds. Can't decide between very high 3 or low 4. When do I is a shite song. Walking back to Waterloo is an ace tune.
Psycosocial, Dead memories, snuff, vermillion pt2 absolute total bangers.
exciting albums, I find that slipknots best songs on the albums are the ones where they mix the gutteral vocals with the clean ones, it makes for some really cool moments.
Drums and percussion carry the first few songs. although the riff Gematria is pretty sweet.
Sulfur is a good tune.
The point around the middle of the album where it I feel like it becomes too much. The albums got some great highs but a few songs that are close to unbearable. all in all pretty decent
Hard to fault anything on this album really, great bass, great guitar and the great lyrism of morrisey
Strong start, love the jazzy vibes. the 1st song began to outstay its welcome after the 6 minute mark. its a good track just goes on abit.
So original and very interesting to listen to. I found it very enjoyable
Aphex Vibes but no where near as good. First track became boring as hell after 5 or so mins. second tune is babba, could sit through it so boring. bobbed a little confusing the waitress. some really nice synths and interesting effects, its just nothing seems to go anywhere. Rowla is somebody messing with a filter on the same 2 bar loop for 6 mins. Its pretty shit, could vibe to it. Time has never moved so slow as listening to pearls girl. Some interesting ideas, maybe i need to listen to it in on ecstasy or in a different setting to enjoy it.
some great tracks on here aint talking about love, is classic banger as is eruption and running with the devil. its an enjoyable blues rock album nothing too special
slow build but when that beat hits it hits.
Be in is a nice tune when it gets going. and then it overstays its welcome. boys better is a good tune. oranges is such a vibe. honestly i reckon this album on acid would be a belter. some beautiful melodys. its a vibe, at times drags but i feel that is the point. really enjoying it. everyday should be a holiday 100
Enjoyed it more than I expected. Highlights were suliram, discovery the source of the wimbaway and the guy just dying laughing in one more dance. Wouldn't listen again but it was a fun ride
Some lovely music on here. The album starts strong and ends strong a really solid album
The album was very Very good. Every tune was highly enjoyable and there was good pacing although it seemed to pester out towards the end
Nip is best tune on here. Enjoyed alot of the songs on here, lots of different types of genres and some interesting genre.
Sounds tired an brings zero to the table whilst being incredibly annoying to listen to. What a waste of time listening to this was
dazed and confused as well as good times bad times are stella, the rest kinda mid.
wasn't a fan, the mixing just felt off
triad, artificial energy and dolphin smile are my favourite songs on the album. Its very musically diverse with some interesting ideas, it just didn't hit me for whatever reason. maybe if I relisten again at some point I might enjoy it more
Some decent tracks in here
nice bit of double bass on the first track. nice meandering start and great vocals. second song is ace. so much going on but it works great together. the 3rd track is haunting and beautiful. dream letters is a lovely song, but immediately after love from Rome it feels too slow. gypsy woman is decent, mad and disconnected but decent. ends strong with sing a song for you. overall decent
One of the greatest albums ever made. Stevie wonder is a genius
as an album it kind of sucks. there is some amazing bits of guitar playing on it and some lovely singing. but the songs mostly don't feel like complete bits of work, merely scrapings of ideas and nice melody's. it isn't horrible and at times its quiet beautiful I just think it isnt a very good album
shitty album name and art lets a really interesting and fun album down. Dance or die and the tightrope are great tracks. first half is really strong. its really eclectic. mushroom and roses is an awesome epic tune. make the bus is great aswell. its really fun. not perfect and abit long, some songs feel a little bit like filler. enjoyed though
enjoy yourself is a great tune. the album is one dimensional but fun. first half of the album is considerably better than the 2nd. its fine. sterotype is shit and too long. holiday fortnight is fun. but i cant stand i cant stand it. overall a mixed bag
fast pace, low budget sounding. first 2 seconds sound identical, its fun enough but not particularly interesting. the recording felt flat with no bass. what is it with punk and not having any fucking bass
on drive my car, McCartneys bass goes hard. wonderfully recorded. some of the lyrics are abit dumb but its really well made and the songs are classics. Norwegian wood is nice but abit dull, not my favourite song. you wont see me and nowhere man are nice songs, well made and just nice musically. as ive listened on ive grown more fond of the album, its very very decent.
Considering I hated the last Neil young album I didn't expect much. But I did however enjoy the album, couldn't pick out any key songs but the whole thing worked well and I enjoyed it
Total classic, perhaps it's nostalgia classes but I proper enjoyed it.
Some nide jazz but too much talking. Tom waits is just not remotely funny. His nonsense chatter ruins it because when he is singing it is a nice album.
Loads of great hits, few duds. A really really solid 3 pushing 4
Fun solid album with a few duds. Would be a 4 but the comfortably numb cover knocks it to a 3
Really enjoyable album would listen again. Ace harmonica on it.
enjoyable throughout, bass goes hard. at times a little generic. a fun solid album
Some good tunes absolutely trashed by go awful harmonica playing. Fucking puling shades of Dylan this one. Had to turn it of because it was giving me a headache, and not the good kind
Hit after hit after hit. They all have a similar sort of sound, but i enjoy that sound so hard to fault this album apart from maybe a lack of wound variation
A fun lo-fi punky rock album that doesn't take itself seriously. It's lyrics are silly and the music is varied and exciting
Its fine, some tracks are lovely others are sent me to sleep because they were boring
its fine, interesting but at times annoying
Awesome from start to finish, so many banger. Mr blue-sky, need it say more
I like the premise and the whole album has energy. But that is just about it, songs are poorly produced and most are just not that good
