liked this album a lot!! will definitely revist this one a few times i think! i've been meaning to listen to more elliott smith since i listened to either/or a while ago but never got around to it, and while i don't think this quite reaches the heights of either/or in my eyes this is still really good!!
some tracks i really liked were son of sam, everything means nothing to me and can't make a sound!!
like i think i have to give this a 10/10?? because 1: i think all the songs sound good and some of these songs are genuinely like amazing and 2: how they fuck were they doing that in 1967!!!!! bro what the fuck!!!!!!
some of these parts are insane, like if heroin or european son came out today it would still be experimental and the fact that they were doing this in 1967 is wild
the guitar on this goes absolutely insano crazy style holy fuckkk marquee moon and torn curtain are probably my standouts they're real good but the whole album is amazing

i really liked this !!! first kate bush album i've heard and i will 100% listen to more because holy shit that was real good! genuinely like insane songwriting on here wdym there's a song about dancing with hitler and also she predicted people dating chatgpt ?!?! i love all the sounds she uses in the songs like she wasn't afraid to get a little weird with it
