1001 Albums Summary

Star & Trainspotting were good funky jams. Overall not something I'd listen to over and over but a fine album.

The whole thing sounds like 'Folsom Prison' - which is pretty sweet. 'Jackson' is great one that I forget about.

I feel cooler listening to this music.

Jam band vibes but old school. Only 5 songs but since they are so long it's a full album. It's good music, but the jam bands kill me.

A 60s rock album through and through, great bops

Radiohead is more mellow than I think they are. It's rock but soft rock. English rock. It's great. Songs I know but didn't know I knew.

Starting out slower than I thought, not crazy 'jazz' piano but more peaceful. Good background music, this guy can slap some keys.

It being recorded so close to his death adds an interesting perspective to this. His voice is a beautiful growl. Melancholy. Mellow rock.

It's Beck! Some bangers, some just funky tunes. A fun listen, but not one I'll go to over and over.

Reminds me of Matt & Sarah, though I have no idea if they listen to Steely Dan. Great tunes.
