Shit made me smile. Silky vocals and full of soul

This album gets too cursed for me. It starts off really good and then it just gets too experimental for my liking. Burst out laughing at jig of life

they punk rocked out before punk rocking out was a thing

Liked most of this it’s just a shame the bits I didn’t like i really didn’t like. (Namely- bird land)!

So close to a 5/5. Perfect old school vibe, lyrically excellent and no misses. Even got a bath and body work reference for Lucy 😂

This comes in at 3rd in my ranking of Beatles albums, it’s still brilliant it almost feels like listening to a greatest hits album. It’s REALLY long though. I did find disk 2 to be slightly worse than disk 1 which is a shame because If disk 1 was released as an album on its own this would be a sure fire 5

This is fine at best, saved by a few decent tracks

Not overly listened to Paul Simon before this and this was much better than I expected. I always find it funny when someone self names an album that’s not a band. Imagine an album called Michael Colhoun 😂

Some great songs but it hasn’t aged quite as well as I remember

This man went on to do some legendary soundtracks and as a film lover always appreciate that. This was only ok though. Him and nepenthez the only 2 who have escaped uncancelled for their symbolic use of a certain derogatory word.

One of the great voices of music. This is the best Morissey produced post smiths by a stretch there’s no bad songs on this album. Fantastic

I actually enjoyed the blend of genres in this, fun album

Now that’s how you do a double album, uses the two halves to perfectly contrast each other to create a blend that feels both explosive and intimate at the same time

After the first track I thought I was going to hate this and was getting a house album (not hugely my thing). Instead it really turned itself around into a fun listen that had me moving my shoulders

The most Beatles sounding non Beatles album I’ve ever heard but hey I’m not complaining I like it

I take it back this is even more Beatles than skylarking. Enjoyed it more too so maybe there’s some correlation there

Liked the bluesy vibe, just sort of whatever

I actually had a good time with this album and would have given it a 4 but I’m docking an entire point for the title track trauma I have from GCSE music

Unfortunately I’m just not a huge Queen fan. This is still pretty decent though

I was listening to this during work and I literally felt myself check out for easily 3 songs of the album which I don’t know if that is my fault or the music…. I’m gonna blame the music.

I really liked this, super cosy vibe and such a soft and sweet voice.

A truly amazing album start to finish

Great album that I have never listened to start to finish but have heard majority of the songs many times when I went through a big dire straits phase about 3 years. I bet that version of me would have rated this even higher 😂

Some of the vocals really pissed me off

I’m sure this would have been great to be at. Unfortunately I’m not I’m listening to it while plowing through spreadsheets so that’s gonna dent it a bit.

BOW DOWN TO THE BOW DOWN TO THE KING all I can hear when I listen to Motörhead is triple H and with the current state of WWE, that annoys me ask me again in 6 months and this may get boosted

I feel like when I listened to this I wasn’t in mood that this wants me to be in, and I still really liked it so this is great

Listened to this during a walk and never once didn’t like what I was hearing, slightly un memorable but still very good

This fucking ruled

This album doesn’t appeal to me in the slightest. It’s vocally infuriating and I just don’t understand the appeal at all. There is the most beautiful string quartet in the first song though which I’ve thrown an extra half star on for

Oh to be at mister Kelly’s in 1958 listening to Sarah Vaughan’s soothing voice play jazz while I drink a whiskey sour for 50 cents

Some of this is really good but some of it needed to Doolittle more

The Joshua tree is a great album with minimal low points and some excellent tunes. Slightly top heavy on the front side of the album

When done right jazzy soul like this is hard to beat and this is defintely done right

There’s some decent songs in this I’ve just always found queen meh and this is no different

Great cheesy vibe, unfortunately it’s not massively memorable

Vocally superb and it has some really great tracks on here especially cry baby and her rendition of me and Bobby McGee. Crazy that Mercedes Benz was recorded in one take 3 days before her death

Genuinely will likely finish with 40/50 albums below it by the end, that’s not a compliment to this, it’s how horrid some of them have been

Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthin ta F’ wit So fucking good, da mystery of chessboxin’ up there with my favourite rap songs of all time

Paul Simon is great and this might slightly edge the self titled album which was his first work I listened to but both are really very enjoyable

The beats are funky and it’s a pretty fun vibe but I can’t pretend it doesn’t sound like a “how to rap 101” introductory video, some horrendous lyricism. Still pretty fun though

This is fine I didn’t dislike it but this could have been half the length
