1001 Albums Summary

5/10 It's alright, not really my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal. My personal favorite from the album is "Lady Grinning Soul"

Haven't listened to Kanye in a while. This honestly just reminds me why he 𝘸𝘢𝘴 so popular. There's no one who quite compares to his style of music. You really do see his immense lyrical genius in the song "Slow Jamz" lyrics: "She got a light-skinned friend look like Michael Jackson" "She got a dark-skinned friend look like Michael Jackson"

Most of the songs sounded the same to me. I know this makes me sound old as hell, but everything just blended together and became noise.

Definitely not their best work, but it was decent enough.

Very comforting album. Type of music that you put on in the background in the morning, and just relax.

Kinda edgy just for the sake of being edgy, but there’s a couple good songs on there that made it worth listening to. Not something I’d put on a playlist of my own, but I don’t regret listening to it.

It's not terrible, but it's not amazing either. I don't really see how this is considered one of the albums you MUST hear before you die, but it had a few good tracks

This is the second album I've gotten from Bob Marley & The Wailers, and I have to say I regret not having listened to them a lot before I started using this generator. Very nice album to sit back and relax while listening to.

Finding the album was a little annoying. The link provided led to an album from 2003 with the same name. However, looking at the album cover, I saw the text "In a doghouse", and ended up finding an album from 1998. Checking the Wikipedia page for this album, I found out the original 1986 album only included the first 10 songs that are also present on "In a doghouse". TL;DR Original 1986 album doesn't exist on Spotify. Listen to the first 10 songs on "In a doghouse" from 1998 instead.

Definitely an interesting experimental kind of album, but not really something I'd consider a "must listen".

Was expecting some kind of funky-ness when I saw this was by Bee Gees. Kinda disappointed

It was pretty good in the moment, but not something I found all that memorable.

I wish I liked this more, but I just cannot physically make myself enjoy it all that much.

I was genuinely filled with a sense of dread when I saw I had to listen to another album by The White Stripes, after having the absolute displeasure of listening to their album "White Blood Cells". HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised when listening to this one. Still not the best, but a massive improvement from my first experience listening to them.

This started incredibly strong with the first couple songs, dropped off a bit after that, but stayed pretty good all through the album.

Fuckin' slapped. Groovy, funky, fun. Didn't really care for the interviews included though.

It was decent. "Every Breath You Take" is a classic, but holy shit "Mother" is the most god awful dogshit I’ve ever heard, and simply by it’s presence on the album, it goes down to a 2-star rating.
