Amazing album! I loved listening to this one. Freddie Mercury's vocals, Brian May's guitar, Roger Taylor's drumming, and John Deacon's bass all shine through on this album. My favorite song has to be either Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon or The Prophet's song, Bohemian Raphsody remains a classic, of course. It's hard to pick a least favorite, but the God Save the Queen outro seemed a bit unnecessary and I feel the album ending on Bohemian Raphsody would have been better. I also didn't enjoy Death on Two Legs quite as much as the rest of the album, not to say it's a bad song.
Very boring album, not my style at all. There are times throughout listening I thought the album showed promise, but those were far and few between. A standout for me was Flugufrelsarinn, and the bass intro of Olsen Olsen. Ný batterí wasn't too bad a song either. Overall, the second half was better, but I still didn't enjoy this one, but I can see why people do like it.
Loved it! Great album with great instrumentals. David Byrne's vocals are very unique and recognizable, adding to the band's signature style. I loved the bass in this thing, as a bass player, it really fascinated me. Absolutely fantastic, definitely belongs on a 'Best Albums of the 70s' list.
I went into this album thinking it was going to be boring. 4 songs at 45 minutes? Yeah, no thanks. Man, was I wrong. Every second was enjoyable! Good vibes, great singing from Isaac Hayes, and that rendition of 'By The Time I Get to Phoenix' was amazing! Definitely a new favorite of mine!
The music isn't bad, but actually quite enjoyable, that is, for the first half of each song. I feel the album would've done better with 8 or songs at a runtime of 45 minutes rather than 4 at 40 minutes. Chameleon’s bass goes hard. I enjoy Hancock's style, but I do wish his song's were shorter.
Great acoustic guitar! Bob Dylan is a great songwriter and I can tell his songs would be so much fun to play on guitar. Some of the lyrics are weird, specifically on Talkin' World War 3 Blues, it sounds like he's just talking to himself while a guitar track plays. Fun music, worth the listen.
Wow, just wow. Not a good wow, a bad wow. Sheryl Crow obviously had fun making this album, she has good energy, I'll give her that. But the whole thing sounds like a poorly made cover album. If Sheryl Crow worked more on each song, and made them seem less like poor covers or rough drafts, the album could have had some value. Overall, not a good album.
Killer album! Great music, great instruments, great vocals! I had a good time listening to this and will definitely check out more of Muse's music because of this album. An essential album for every rock fan.
I don't mind unconventionality in music, but this album did not do it well. Lots of weird sounds coming from her and random things like dogs barking. What's that all about? The lyrics are weird and the production isn't that good either. The album gets worse with each song, but there are times throughout I enjoyed the music. Overall, not my thing.
Complete garbage. Can you even call this music? Everything about this is bad, not a single redeeming quality. This is what plays when your doctor's office puts you on hold. Absolutely atrocious.
Honestly, a great album. It's nothing super special, but I like it. I definitely like Clapton’s work with Cream better, but I have no complaints about this one.
Good music makes you feel good. Nothing to complain about.
Definitely good music, but not really my thing. But I can definitely see it growing on me if I listen more. Enjoyed the Eminem features and the lyrics are very well written.
I was liking this album until the second half of Wars of Armageddon. Other than that, I liked it.
Impossible for me to pick a favorite song. They are all good! I loved listening to this album and thought the concept, production, vocals, and instruments were all amazing. Awesome features on this album. Very happy I got to hear this one.
55 minutes of straight up good music. Gave me Led Zeppelin vibes. I’d never heard of this album before it was given to me, so I was interested in what I was about to listen to, and I was not disappointed. Everything hits and has great instrumentals with an awesome female vocalist to head it all. Really glad I heard this, will definitely listen to more of Freeport Convention’s music.
Solid punk album. I enjoyed hearing this one, as it was my first time hearing a full Offspring album, I’ve only ever heard their hits. It’s got some angst energy attached to it that I just love.
I mean, it’s good, but nothing special. I enjoyed listening to it but I couldn’t help but compare it to Michael Jackson. Janet Jackson is a good singer and a good songwriter, but it just didn’t hit how I thought it would.
What’s not to like about this album? It’s perfect in every way. Mark Knopfler is an amazing musician and this is an equally amazing album.
Such a fun album! Loved listening to this one. Loved the vocals and the trumpet, definitely a classic! Don’t see how anyone can not like this.
Definitely a unique album, not in a bad way. I enjoyed this one, it was definitely new to my ears. Instrumentals are great, wish there were more lyrics. Not really my thing, but if my friend put it on, I’m not gonna beg them to shut it down. Standout tracks for me are Kerosene and Big Money.
Solid rock album, great writing on this one. Even with only two members, it really feels like a whole ensemble. Great songs on this, standouts being Seven Nation Army and Black Math.
Sounds like if Bob Dylan was depressed and sucked at writing music
Super solid nu-metal album. Some classics on this one. I was very happy to receive an album I’ve heard before and enjoy.
Peaceful album, made be happy. Nothing to complain about :)
Solid album with some good 60s tunes on it. Not really unique but it’s not bad. I’ve heard of The Band because of Bob Dylan but never really listened to their stuff, glad I was introduced.
Did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did! Honestly, I’m super glad I listened to this before I died, it definitely deserves to be on a list like this. Hi guy energy songs with a unique distinct style, especially on Electricity. Would recommend this to anyone. Even Cop Shoot Cop being 17 minutes was a fun song to listen to!
This album can be summed up in two words: it’s alright
What a great listen! I had a lot of fun with this album, it just gives off good vibes and happy thoughts. My favorite was Head Over Heels.
Man is this album ahead of its time. Such an amazing album with great instruments vocals, and awesome songs. Really is one of the greatest of the 70s
The Police has great hits, but the albums tracks on this one just didn’t do it for me.
The title tracks definitely brings this one up a few stars, everything after just isn’t as good, but I did find some enjoyment.
Carlos Santana is a fantastic guitarist and this is a fantastic album. I absolutely loved listening to this and I quite enjoyed that the majority of the album is purely instrumental.
Has Stevie Wonder ever released a bad song? So far, I’m thinking the answer is no. I couldn’t find anything bad about this album if you gave me 10 years to analyze every second of it. I love this album!
It’s alright, didn’t really speak to me. I’m not familiar with this style of music so I’m not sure how essential this record is within the genre. I didn’t find anything special inside this album, but it’s not bad.
The stones are a good band, iconic and classic. That being said, this album was an above average record for the 60s, I personally like them more than athe Beatles.
Hey! The album gave itself its own rating!
Not a bad album. I definitely see the inspiration they received from The White Stripes and The Strokes. Doesn’t really do anything new, but it is underrated considering the band has only 1500 listeners on Spotify. I enjoyed it but it’s not really my thing.
I enjoyed this one a lot more than the last Bob Dylan album I got. I really enjoyed this one and was able to find some new favorites in it! Awesome to see Bob Dylan’s improvement as a songwriter between the two albums.
This album sucks and so does Courtney Love
How did I get two Hole albums in a row? What did I do to deserve this? This one is just as mediocre as Live Through This. Only ok song was the title track, everything else just sucks.
Great album! I honestly didn’t know what to expect. It’s honestly pushing perfect for me. I didn’t like the singing at times, not that it was bad but because I was vibing with the instrumentals. Feels like an awesome retro game soundtrack.
What’s not to like about Led Zeppelin? Answer is nothing. Awesome album with each the singer, drummer, bassist and guitarist being one of the best of all time on their respective instruments. This album rocks and is one of the greatest of all time.
One of the weirdest albums I’ve heard ever. Did not like it. The whole avant garde thing never really appealed to me and this is no exception.
Great album! It’s nothing new considering what time it was released, very similar to The Beatles, The Monkees and The Beach Boys. Had so much fun with this one!
Doesn’t really do it for me. Pretty average album. Probably goes hard on a skateboard.
