Early Beatles, if there's a top to a scale, it's them.
I enjoyed his storytelling, and the music is well put together, I just find myself wishing it was another artist (whom I know drew inspiration from him).
With each song it felt as though he knew is death was only closer.
Music for those who miss having a spouse to beat.
It sounded like he had his band lay down a beat and he just noodled over it after hitting record.
They have a good sound, but it was a bit too samey. Like an album of putting the same Gin Blossom's song on repeat. I liked it well enough, but I wouldn't say I liked the album as much.
Sounds like an early jam album. Not blowing me away like Sister Ray may have said, but still good. Sounds like they had more fun making the album than I did listening to it.
Just a solid album with a good feel.
They drowned so that others could go "Oh ****!" and consider learning to swim.
Not tortuous, but not a fun time. Excellent drummer though, they're fantastic.
Prince whines and cries at you about how sex will make this better.
And he's right.
I had worried this list would be English-only and was gladly mistaken. This album was a lot of fun and combined a few different styles of music I like to make something I liked even a little more.
I enjoyed my time, but I cannot recommend this album. You're not listening to this in the context and music scene it released in. You're listening digitally in 21st century, and unless you're already in, this one's out.
Every song was good, every song overstayed its welcome.
I hardly need to put myself in the mindset of the time to hear why he was THE name in American music for so long.
Possibly my new favorite version of Blue Moon, Elvis is a far better crooner than I remembered.
I was never a Stones fan, but it's still good.
Not my thing, but pleasant enough.
Man perves on 14 year old Brit with a sexy French voice. It's more of a stage-play, and the plot drops the rating. Well orchestrated, poorly written, 28 minute song.
A pleasant listen.
A good number of them were songs that I already have preferred versions of unfortunately.
