Super long, but such a vibe all the way through. It's two albums in one, and both are bangers.

Love his voice. This was my first time really diving into Leonard, after reading about him for years. Like a mix of Bob Dylan and Lou Reed.

Not bad, but Bono just doesn't really do it for me. I really like "Sunday Bloody Sunday" though.

I really like this. I've never been a huge Neil Young fan. Didn't hate him, but his voice never super appealed to me. This album is just a solid rocker, with grunge-y dark elements.

Not my favorite MJ album, but still some heavy hitters to enjoy!

Just an absolute banger. One of the best early Beatles albums.

This was the first artist in this project that I had zero history with whatsoever, and I really enjoyed it. Cool to learn he performed with bands like the Clash, and is in the country music hall of fame.

This band is ... fun. The guitars are phenomenal. I had no idea they were a British group, and that Hynde lived in London. I had always associated The Pretenders with Northeast Ohio, but the origins of this and are pretty fascinating.

Only the edited version was available on streaming, which was a big bummer. Not bad. I liked the guitars. But would not be my go-to style of hip hop.

Janis kinda sounds like Marge Simpson at points of "I Need a Man to Love." I really like the guitar on "Summertime" Honestly, I'm liking this album a lot more than I thought I would. I wasn't sure I liked Janis Joplin that much, but the band is great and her voice is definitely powerful.

Man ... it's such a shame Kanye is the way he is. This is the only album of his I ever spent much time with (in college) and the production is just impeccable. Oh man, I forgot Nikki Minaj was on this one, too. Another hip-hop superstar who has fallen from grace. There's a Donald Trump reference on "So Appalled"! I'm so appalled, Spalding ball Balding, Donald Trump taking dollars from y'all

Might be nostalgia, but I think this is my favorite Hendrix album. It's the first I owned (on vinyl) back in high school, and it brings back memories of spinning it in my small basement bedroom and expanding the universe.

This album wasn't exactly what I needed the day it was offered up. But as I listened into the second half, it grew on me. I love the guitar playing. Some of the instrumental tracks are stellar. A 3.5 album for me.

Noise jazz is just not my thing.

What a voice. I got a kick out of "Let's Get It On" being followed up a few songs later by "Keep Gettin' It On." "You Sure Love To Ball" is a jam, too.

Not bad. Definitely need to listen again, but on first listen I don't necessarily hear why it's a classic.

Fun 80s hip hop, but probably won’t return to it that much

Really solid, very long so will need to give it another listen for sure. Reminded me of a cross between Modest Mouse and Parquet Courts.

Pretty good! The songwriting is impressive, I found myself moving to just about every song. His voice would have to grow on me a bit.

This is the first Stevie Wonder album I ever bought, and it's so influential on so much music that came after.

I thought this album was super long, because it would not end. Realized that I just had it on a loop for 2 hours, and didn't realize the songs were repeating. So yeah, it definitely didn't click for me.

Was enjoying this album until I got to "Frankie Teardrop." That's definitely a song that will stop me from returning to this record.

I could listen to Jimmy Smith all day. What a talent.
