Very bowie, not quite my type of music

I liked it! The album was able to keep a good balance between songs sticking to a theme while not becoming repetitive

Feels a little bit monotonous, but I liked the instrumentals.

I like Talking Heads because of their very interesting vocals, although this album felt just a bit like too much of the same

The songs are repetitive, but alright. I'm sure it would be good for disco, but not a fan of just listening to it.

Good songs

Might be one of my new favorites. I had not heard any of this album before, but a bit from the artist. Lovely music and lovely voice, with some political messages thrown in.

Great album with some real classics. Only reason I'd rate it lower is because some songs have been a bit overplayed.

Initially gave a review of 3 because I hadn't had time to listen through it before my next album 🫪 But it got significantly better towards the later tracks 🤔

I have never listened to much U2, but it's quite different from what I expected it to be for some reason. Some of the songs are amazing. With the starting track of Beautiful day I thought it'd be more like 4 or 5 stars worth, but a lot of the tracks are unfortunately a bit disappointing, whiney or cheesy. I think they're best at doing somewhat higher energy songs.

Already one of my favorite albums from before I got this generator 🫪 I feel like The Strokes never disappoints with anything they've released.

This one was a challenge to get through. Torn between 1 and 2 stars but doing 1 because apparently Marvin Gaye is also like the worst person ever.

Feels kind of fruitless. He sounds quite similar to Chris Cornell (e.g. Black Hole Sun) but sadder And why does he look like Ed Sheeran mixed with Michael Cera? I'd much rather listen to Ed Sheeran mixed with Michael Cera.

Lots of electric guitar. I think it would be nice to listen to in certain environments, but the tracks feel like a bit too much of the same to me.

Good music with horrible lyrics and a horrible artist.

I don't know what they're trying to do with this one but they sure aren't succeeding. I feel kind of the same as with the last RHCP album I got here, californication, that they have a couple of bangers mixed in with hot garbage. But yeah not their best work, they have better.

jazzy, nothing special

It was pretty alright, but I'm generally not a fan of country.

Even though I'm not a fan of country/rockabilly, Johnny Cash is undoubtedly a very talented artist and I do think these tracks are pretty good. They are also in insane quality for being performed live and recorded in the 60s. I had never listened to the album before, but knew of the historic performance. It's definitely an album that I'd consider a must-hear.

Not my style, but nice and fitting for saturday morning.

Although the music is great and the album is very important and influential, the excessive misogyny and all-round toxicity is very off-putting.

I remember struggling on the solo at the end in guitar hero. All in all, pretty good! A little bit whiny.

I mean he's a talented artist but I don't really get why he hates women so much.

It's actually pretty unique in how it uses this form of feel-good melody but with quite comical lyrics. It had some really good tracks, but all in all not my cup of tea.

I'm not familiar with the artist or the context of the time of its release, but to me it sounds super generic and is a style of music that I'm not really a fan of.

Really enjoyed this one just chilling in the living room. I might have rated it lower had I heard it some other day. It's not very memorable though.

I can't really put my finger on it but there's SOMETHING that makes it a bit off, like it's really close to being really good but not quite there. It has some political messaging, some lyrics that aged poorly, and lots of nonsensical pop-y-ness. To me it sounds a lot like Lemon Demon. They were allegedly both inspired by They Might Be Giants. All in all pretty mid/okay album.

Not a fan of country and not my kind of music, but still a comfortable listen. Either way, Dolly Parton was of course still an icon and an amazing person. I got this album just following her passing. Rest in peace.

Iconic voice.

It has some really great tracks and some really bad tracks. It's an alright album.
