1001 Albums Summary

Lots of echo on most songs. Some classics. Not too psychedelic. Not really my cup of tea. Came out when I was 7 years old. Not offensive, though.

Strong reminder of the Beatles. Part of the British Invasion without being overly played in my head. Glad to know about the Zombies now. I had heard of them - now I have heard them. I like the last track "Time of the Season", but I liked it better when Blake Lewis performed it on American Idol in 2015.

This is he heaviest metal I think I can enjoy. Axl Rose's voice is classic. Three big hits: Welcome to the Jungle. Paradise City, and Sweet Child O' Mine.

Classic. Slightly fewer major hits than Thriller. Still, one of the best from one of the best. Underrated Stunner - Dirty Diana.

Iconic. Hard rock. Not really my jam... but a lot of jams that were lots of people's jams. The title track, along with You Shook Me All Night Long defined a segment of my teenage youth. Hells Bells, Have a Drink on Me, and Shoot to Thrill were also on heavy rotation.

Painless. Innocuous. Forgettable with the exception of "Teach Your Children".

I loved "Killer Queen". The rest, meh. Spotify had difficulty playing the album for me.

Not my cup of tea. Strange. Too progressive.

Poor man's Beatles. Painful dirge and wannabe feel to this. No thanks.

Trippy alt rock. Might have a few tiktokable tracks, but not for me.

I know people like this guy, but he is just too into himself to appeal to me. Not my thang!

Hardcore, classic old school rap. I'm sure this is required listening in some circles... not mine. Pass.

Random Jazz as If I were in a Chicago club back room in the 60's or 70's. I'm not. And now I don't ever want to be.

College frat party jumping around dancing. Goth, British, moody vibes. Not for me.

I've never heard of this artist nor heard any of these songs. I can understand why. Nothing special. Bland 1970's radio soft rock. Inoffensive. Unmemorable.

A classic from a classic. But not from my experience or enjoyment. But it is OK.

Just outside my wheelhouse of music I really like. Not bad at all. Great variety.

Dancetronica EDM stuff. While not displeasing, it misses my sweet spot, Trippy!

What is this genre? Punk? Bjork? College girls dancing by jumping straight up and down. Experimental... or just mental.

I'd never heard this album before, but I dig it! Danceable modern rock. Right blend of electronic and rock. Should be in my rotation. Winner!
