Running 38mins for 6 tracks that are splendid, but low concentration of bangers. I go to Bowie for bangers. His more arty stuff is great but this isn’t a Bowie album I’ll reach for.

A sick prog album in the front half and lame sting songs in the back. Suffers from a track listing problem. Sounds like a band about to break up

Complicated. I have a lot of nostalgic love for this record but on this listen I couldn’t wait for it to end. A bit masturbatory at times and the track list is too long. A lot of fat to be trimmed. Doesn’t change the fact that there’s so many great songs on this record.

Love this album. The power ballads are a lot less lame than I remember. There’s some bside stuff that’s a little too cute for its own good and only used to shoehorn the concept album lore, but the bangers rip. Was going to say 3.5 but got the extra .5 because the album forces you to listen to it like an album. Want Boulevard? Gotta sit through Holiday sucker.

Might be my fav Zappa album? Idk this one is just endlessly quotable for me. It’s a weird one without being so up its own ass like later Zappa albums. I love tight-assed Zappa too but there’s something really loose about this record I enjoy.
A little too much. Altogether an enjoyable listen but songs too long and arrangements too lush. It’d be one thing if I hadn’t just listened to Born to Run, but it just pales in comparison.

I don’t know what to say about this album. It’s as bland as matzah. Production sucks. I feel like there’s only an idea of Taylor being sold on this record. There’s nothing giving me indication of who she actually is. Just sounds like a lot of the pop of the era with specific artists I can point to that she’s modeling. If not having been released in an era of Millennial Optimism, I have a feeling Swift would’ve gone the way of Jojo Siwa (who we Stan). I’ll admit I was predisposed to hate this but really it just made me feel nothing throughout 99% of it. Formulaic and no surprises. Bummer. Music should do better.

Very inspiring record. Finally someone bridges the gap from The Beatles to Gong. I really liked this.
Two or three songs with certified banger status and some sick riffage. That being said every track is virtually the same. At least Limp Bizkit gives you the opportunity to laugh every once in awhile.
Unashamed Dead Head. It’s rock n roll played like jazz. Opening with a 23 minute dark star is crazy. This St Stephen is HOT plus a rare appearance of The Eleven. Always love a Pigpen era Love Light.
GFunk great. Real highlight of this era. The misogyny is a little hard to get past at times tho. Made me laugh out loud a lot
