Relaxing jazz sounds make you feel like sitting with friends at a lounge, partaking of libations and telling stories.

Not feeling it. There isn’t a single epic song on this album that I would play as my walk-up music! If I’m on a road trip, I just fell asleep and drove my car into a Wild Horse!

For an album that’s 60 years old, Im surprised I recognized 4 of the songs. Standouts include Nothing Man, In my life, and Drive my Car. If you dare to listen to what your grandparents liked, this is for U!

Started strong, then faded. Pure Prince vocals stand out on Sign O’ the Times and You got the Look; however, the rest varied in vocals and instrumental elements. I updated my playlist to include zero of these tunes.

If you’re looking Halloween background music, go with The Monkey King.

This album brings the listener to a time when things were groovy. I’m temped to say, I Ain’t got Nothing and Do your Thing are the stand-out songs! Peace and Love!!

Frank Ocean sickness. Pyramid was interesting. I’m a gonna pass.

Biggy was the OG, with a distinctive and unique sound that is evident on songs like Juicy, Ready to Die, Things Done Changed. Interested to hear more “Radio Edit” versions

Imagine you wrote a song that is still globally recognized 55 years later. Imagine, the song is the stand-out song on this album.

Up on cripple creek and the night they drove old Dixie are standout songs on this album. Good vocals with a cool sound

There are 14 too many songs on this album and I think it only has twelve. Ray say’s, on Sittin’ and Thinkin’ he got loaded on a bottle of gin. It’s possible he wrote this album immediately following his intoxication.

I like the names of the songs, Glass Museum and Along the Banks of Rivers. Musically, sounds like I’m in the lobby of a hotel, or waiting for the elevator door to open.

Great album, each song is better than the last. Vienna and Scenes from an Italian Restaurant are truly fantastic!

Solid beats. Distinctive sound. Interesting lyrics. Lively.

Generally, I like the beats throughout the album, especially songs like Detox, It ain’t Safe, and Shutdown. Lyrics are “muh”, and mediocre at best.

Each song brings a tranquil jazz sound, with saxophone, keyboard and percussion. When I think of “smooth jazz”, I think of Street Life

I can’t. I know this is Bowie, but I’m a hard pass. I would rather jump out of a speeding car than listen to that album again.

I don’t speak French, so I can’t fairly evaluate the lyrics. The music was sometimes deep, methodical, cryptic and yet other times it was randomly light. It really never connected.

Wild Flower, Bad Fun, and Love Removal Machine were standouts on this album. Makes me want to ride a motorcycle on a dirt road, full-throttle!

Ripping for 1970, but didn't have big hooks that connected me to any of the songs. Loud and fast, OK 👍

Sounds similar to Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young, Dylan. Lyrics were a little bit of story and poetry, but I really never connected to any of the songs. Somebody need to check on the girl in “Where my loves lies Dreaming” —

This album rocks! Don’t overthink it, add to your playlist and crank it up!!

Don’t try the patty-melt!

I understand Radiohead is a well known group, so I was mildly disappointed. Each song felt like a completely different mood, so it never really flowed cohesively. I enjoyed the guitar sound on Hunting Bears

Artistically, one of the best albums I’ve heard. NIN created their own, distinctive sound with intense passion. Each song takes the listener further down the spiral, to the ultimate ‘Hurt’.

Exceptional rap album. She was ahead of her time and laid the groundwork for future generations. While I didn’t recognize any 1-song, every song seemed listenable. The Queen earned her title.

After the gold rush, is a good album, with stand-out songs like Southern Man and Only love can Break your Heart. Neil’s voice makes each song uniquely identifiable.

The album took a few songs to get going. It was a coming of age, exploring the trials and tribulations of love. Songs like, I wanted be your man, and All my Loving were good; while Mister Postman, Rollover Beethoven, and Money (that’s all I want) were standouts.

Some girl wrecked this dude so bad he sang about doing the dishes

A mix of electric, psychedelic, and some high intensity vocals. I feel as though being sober while listening to this album is a fail. I failed.

This album had 4 hits songs and the rest are listenable. Albanis has a unique sound and she’s makes being a lyrical misfit work. The songs lasted the rest of time!

This album makes me believe aliens are real. They are and this album is proof.

Couple gems on this album. Worth a listen

The first song was off to a slow start; however, the lyrics were interesting. Kamera, Heavy Metal Drummer and Pot Kettle Black were my favorites, mostly because they showed signs of a pulse. The songs didn’t all sound the same, and seem to flow instrumentally with the singer.

Oh, I’m sorry. I fell asleep at song one and just woke up.

U2 exploded onto the scene in the 80’s with hits like Sunday Bloody Sunday, and the Joshua Tree album, which lends credibility to Achtung Baby. Songs, Even better then the Real Thing and Mysterious Ways have stood the test of time.

This isn’t a daily driver for me, but if I were in Ireland, lounging in a restaurant/pub, this album would be ideal. I would sing the lyrics wrong, and I would be happy!

I’m sorry, I started listening in 2001, and dosed off at song 1, or 2. It’s hard to remember. I drifted in and out of consciousness at song 3-4, and never fully recovered.

What about water… 💦

This album has a folksy storytelling style, with some decent guitar and rythum on songs like, Old fort Steel Trail. Unfortunately, it’s very slow and he could’ve named 10 songs the same name and I wouldn’t know the difference.

Never really listened to the cure, and now I know why. Everything that sucked about the 80-90’s
