Reminds me a lot of Adrianne Lenker's vocal style, but injects enough twee energy (or lack thereof?) into it to make its own thing, and it's great! This is the first user album I am completely unfamiliar with to get a five, and I think that's pretty neat.

Feels like the second coming of Broadcast, just slightly twee this time. I'm not a singer-songwriter person, but Plain's mix of intimate arrangements and warm synths/guitar works so well. Not every track left a mark, but most of the 37 minutes felt like an encompassing sonic hug with just a tinge of weirdness on top. Sent me down a rabbit hole of some similar efforts that ended up being most of my listening for the day. Great add, these lesser-known contemporary LPs are excellent discoveries and what I love to see here.

Soft and dreamy, with a very distinct vocal style. One generally likes but understand that it's not exactly weighty. Doesn't feel essential to add to list proper but worth knowing and one's glad to have been intro'd to this intriguing performer, so thanks, recommender.

Friend by Rozi Plain is a decent indie pop album. It contains nice and harmless soft pop songs with interesting arrangements. The problem is that nothing really stands out. It just meanders from from song to song, from begining to end with uninteresting lyrics.

Had never heard of this artist. Very lush and layered pop folk music. Pretty arrangements and good vibe for the morning for sure.

This is the kinda indie folk stuff I love although this didn't get hit the marks for me. There are tons of artists out there that make this kinda music and it's great but this isn't essential because of that.

Should this have been included on the original list? No.

Damn, folks sounds awesome now. I've never really heard a folk album that was this electronic, but it's fucking solid. Her voice sounds great throughout, and the music is really cool. Lots of synth that helps fill out the sound. Why is this considered a folk album again?

Not my usual fayre, but I managed to have a really rather pleasant snooze during it, so I'm happy enough.

No dice on YouTube Music and the provided link to YouTube video led to a sketchy playlist the first click of which had me listening to an AI voice talking about cryptocurrency. I was tempted to give it one star and bail. But I found 2/5ths of it available to stream on Bandcamp and you know, it was all right.

more twee. I don't like twee.

Apparently this is part of a subgenre called twee. This was what seemed like musical stylings of a mouse. I had the toughest time understanding the murmurs of these songs. It didn’t seem bad just weird how inaudible it is. 5.1/10

Very ok chill sadgirl indie. I think there are far better examples of this style that could be included but it's not like actively bad or anything.
