Give me 85 degrees, a beach, and a cooler full of beer and this album is a 5.
Put me in a time machine and let me go back to 1970 and hear this for the first time and see others reactions. What a time that must have been. An absolute heavy metal and rock classic from start to finish.
Couldn't even finish this garbage. Hate this style of Country music.
When I was a kid I was obsessed with this album. It's been a running joke for years in my family. All joking aside after listening to this from top to bottom (LOL) for the first time since I was probably 5 I can safely say it's a classic. Almost every damn song is good. Younger me had great taste!
Classic
I can see the cigarette smoke filled rundown Jazz bar I wish I was in when I listen to this and I love that.
Rush has never really been my cup of tea but this has the hits. It's fine if that's your thing.
Rough finish to the week with RUSH yesterday and R.E.M. today. Neither band has ever really been in my wheelhouse. Despite that I made it through and while this is not an album I'd go back to listen to it was an easy listen. I can see where some bands I probably love got influence from this but it's simply not for me.
I really enjoyed this album. Backyard bbq/summertime music. Album is just solid top to bottom.
I actually enjoyed some of the instrumentals on this album, especially "Glory Box". However this is simply not my cup of tea otherwise.
I'm certainly what you would consider a "casual" Bruce Springsteen fan. This album for someone like me is just too deep a cut for my tastes. Like I said, casual.
It's Jazz. I enjoy Jazz in the right setting with the right mood. It is what it is.
SO many hits on this album. I may have burned myself out on a lot of them at this point but I won't knock the album down for that.
Simply not for me.
Solid early 90's rock album. I liked it, didn't love it.
Talk about a group I have not thought about since I was a kid. This is actually a solid funk/soul album. Didn't love anything but it was all solid and an easy listen. "Whatever It Is, I Just Can't Stop" is probably the highlight for me.
Love me some Dire Straits.
I miss the old Kanye. One of his many classics.
Give me 85 degrees, a beach, and a cooler full of beer and this album is a 5.
It had to take a lot of drugs to come up with album but upon looking at the release date (1977) the sound is certainly ahead of its time and I can respect that.
Great album top to bottom. Got to love that 80's synth pop sound.
This album feels like a big bland wet blanket. Couldn't wait for it to end.
I love Bowie but this is not my favorite of his offerings.
This was better than anticipated but an extremely tough finish. Like one long depressing break-up. Not something I would go back to but exceeded my low expectations going into it.
One of their many masterpieces.
Makes me think of drinking in Murph's dads garage. Great background music for that atmosphere. Not mad at it.
Not a big Aerosmith fan but this has some hits.
This is a no go from me. So 90's and not in a good way.
Need to be in the mood for The xx but they are damn lovely group.
Great band but this album is not my favorite offering from them. Huge fan of their live stuff.
Nope.....First album I couldn't make it through.
Awesome album and a great change of pace from yesterdays stinker. Love it!
Another awesome album. Classic doors, exactly what you'd expect.
Not really my thing.
An absolute masterpiece
A tremendous album and always a wild ride. I will never not think of some really wild times when I think of this album.
The "Light My Fire" live version was pretty dope at the end but the rest is just not for me. Unless it's Dilla or someone along those lines the instrumental/trip-hop thing is not for me.
Not for me
RUNNNNNNNNNNN TOOOOOOO THEEEEEEEEEE HILLLLLLLLSSSSSSS
Nope, no thank you.
Solid album

That was something.....
Not bad, very easy listen even with so many tracks.
This is not for me.
Couldn't even finish this garbage. Hate this style of Country music.
Ooof.......
Where has this album been all my life? Post-Punk in its purest which is one of my favorite genres. Brilliant!
Big YAWN
An absolute hip hop classic. Common and Kanye simply made magic on this album.
I have no clue how to describe what this is but I don't like it.
Another album that's just not for me. I just don't dig this electronic stuff. At least not from the 90's.
Not my cup of tea
Love Blues, this is a great live album.
Not my favorite style from Sinatra but he's still a legend.
If I could understand what they were saying I would probably love it.
Needs some drugs.
If this album generator has helped me discover one thing, it's that I don't love early 90's British indie rock.
Lots of atmospheric instrumentals and things going on here. I don't necessarily enjoy it but I respect it.
As I get older this genre has really grown on me. I still however do not love The Cure, there is something about the singers voice that just causes me to tune out. Great band however otherwise. This was not bad.
These instrumentals are just not for me.
Neil Young just puts me to sleep.
Beautiful voice but not my kind of jams.
Solid album.
Might be good but I can't understand it. Hate to give it a negative for that.
Truly was dreading this but to say I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not above some good "mom rock" and this is a solid album top to bottom.
It's Jazz, it's fine.
Still not a Neil Young fan.
A solid 90's punk/grunge album. I remember hearing "Connection" as ton as a kid but can't say I've heard much else. At 15 tracks it's a bit of a long listen but it's solid.
A slow, drawn out listen. I don't mind the music but to finish the entire thing you need to be in a certain headspace. Not my favorite, not my least favorite.
Really dig it. Not a great album top to bottom but you can't go wrong with some solid Soul. "Groovin" is one of the all time great songs.
Not a big U2 fan but this song has a ton of well known hits and was honestly better than I remembered.
"Teenage Riot" is an all-time favorite of mine. Great start to the album but the 2nd half is leaves something to be desired.
Has to be one of the better albums of the 70's and that is saying a lot. So many classics. What a debut!
Solid album, I enjoyed it.
Not my cup of tea.
It's CCR. Find some nice weather, grab a cooler full of beer, sit back and relax.
To quote "The Dude", "I hate the fucking Eagles man"
Pleasantly surprised by this. Some of the better psychedelic music I have heard.
It's not bad for what it is. It's 50's love/pop music. It's kind of comical to listen to this (listed as released in 1961) and then listen to some of the music that would come on like a tidal wave later on in the psychedelic 60's. It's not hard to understand how music evolved from those two decades. Regardless for what it is this is fine, just not for me.
I honestly just kind of skimmed this one. I don't mind listening to a studio album from a band that while I respect, don't necessarily enjoy, a live album is tough.
Not my favorite work from him.
I'll admit I'm a total "fair weather" Arcade Fire fan. I typically only like their hits. This has some of those, it's solid.
Could barely make it through the first few tracks and you want me to do this 22 times? No thanks. Horrible.
A hip-hop MASTERPIECE.
Love Motown Marvin and I understand this album is a reflection of the era being the late 70's. His vocals are amazing as always and there are a couple of decent tracks but all in all not my favorite sound of his.
It's just alright.
Some solid tracks on this one. Pleasantly surprised.
Not for me
I guess I just don't get it.
GO OFF QUEEN!
Classic Album!
Weird, not horrible. Sort of Daft Punk before Daft Punk I guess? Not my thing but not terrible.
Fun 80's album.
Typical 60's British invasion rock. I enjoy it sometimes but 20 tracks? Couldn't finish every song.
Put me in a time machine and let me go back to 1970 and hear this for the first time and see others reactions. What a time that must have been. An absolute heavy metal and rock classic from start to finish.
Sabbath followed by this album is by far the best back-to-back yet. Another absolute classic. "Maggot Brain" is probably my favorite guitar solo of all time. So damn good.
Morrissey is extremely hit and miss for me. An entire album of his is a tough finish. It's just okay.
The worst.
Too much even for me.
Has some of my least favorite Beatles songs on it.
