Ghostface KillahLoved this album, great assorted group of producers and Killah's rhymes are something else. Also, I learned how to cut a brick of cocaine, so it was also instructional.

"Man, that guys guitar is talking." "Hey, my shoes are talking too." "Don't worry, we wont hurt you, we only want to have some fun."
Probably my all time favourite album. This is the 7 star Dubai Hotel of albums, why can I only give it five? Five Years, great way to start the album, building to a climax. Soul Love, Moonage Daydream and Starman are a great glam rock trio with amazing guitar work from Mick Ronson on Moonage. It Ain't Easy, just ok but a good middle point of the album before an amazing ballad in Lady Stardust, possibly foreshadowing Bowie's later foray into Plastic Soul. Star and Hang On To Yourself are interchangeable but good. Title Track and Suffragette also a couple of bangers before ending on a sombre note with Rock and Roll Suicide. Best album there is, great flow and I think I've shown that long, pointless album reviews are possible here.
Perfect score. So sad that this was his last album before he took his own life. You could hear the massive step forward Figure 8 was in his career. Still makes me sad to this day his loss and the loss to the world of music.
What a fantastic album. Even more amazing when you learn that Stevens played most of the instruments on the album. Loved the interludes between songs as well. The grandness of the compositions reminded me of Pet Sounds. Ambitious, but pulled off perfectly.
Solid album. Not my favourite Floyd but I totally understand why it's considered one of their best. The Shine on the Crazy Diamond, all parts are unforgettable and a great way to begin and end the album.
I'm more of a Judas Priest guy, but I enjoyed it enough. First track got me into it, then the first ballad was alright. Think it fell apart with that Phantom of the Opera one.
Great stuff. A great mix of different genres. Heard elements of Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, Bob Marley etc. It's got really good flow throughout the whole album too. Ex Factor and Doo Wop stand out but no miss on the whole album. A shame it was her only solo studio album, maybe she felt like she couldn't top it.
Enjoyed this album very much, not every track but the ones that were great were really great.
I was a big Zeppelin fan in high school, not as much as I used to be but I still like them a lot. A noble debut, with 'Babe I'm Gonna Leave You' and 'Communication Breakdown' standing out. Listening to this you really see how they influenced 70s rock music.

Not a big fan of the album, i'm really not into crooning. It was nice enough though.
Classic album, lot of great tracks that really reaffirm the positivity of life and make you want to live life to the fullest.
Can't believe I've never heard any Hawkwind before. I Enjoyed it quite a bit. It was long, but I think that's one of the things about space rock that I actually enjoy, long jam sessions.
Some nice songwriting and folkiness. Liked it but didn't love it.
I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Some of the songs actually annoyed me, but I feel hesitant to blame the music, maybe I was in a bad mood. I lieu of giving it another listen, I'll just give three stars instead.
I know it's not for everyone, but I love Fever Ray and The Knife. Big fan of the mood the music creates. Full marks.
I like this much better than his more recent anti-lockdown stuff. Rolling Stone listed this as one of the top 20 albums of all time, and while that may be too generous, it's still a flawless album in my opinion. Classic.
I was going to give a two, but then when I heard the saxophone I decided to add another star.
Madness are massively underrated (on this side of the pond). Our House is a perfect song and the whole album is wonderful. Was tempted to give it a 5, but the guy in brown-face on the album cover kept it a 4.
Showing that you can know more than 3 chords and still do punk music. Hard to believe that the post-punk movement started just a year or two after punk broke out.
No Boi! I would have given this a much higher rating if I didn't find Flava Flav so annoying. His hype man schtick didn't age well.
I find it amazing how each song on this album stands out from the other stylistically. Songwriting at the highest level.
This is the album that got in interested in Electronic music, every song is perfect, with there was a six stars option.
What a fantastic album. Even more amazing when you learn that Stevens played most of the instruments on the album. Loved the interludes between songs as well. The grandness of the compositions reminded me of Pet Sounds. Ambitious, but pulled off perfectly.
I liked it, but don't think I'm qualified to say any more than that. Seemed like jazz of an experimental nature.
Not really my thing, not so bad though.
I actually find his voice quite annoying explaining my lowish score. I can't knock his skills though.
Perfect album.
Problematic lyrics and themes aside it was a decent listen I thought.
Never heard this before but really enjoyed it.
Really enjoyed this album, good music to relax to.
I really enjoyed this album, exactly my type of thing. From what I understand, this album is a departure from the band's usual post-punk stuff so I'll have to check that out too.
Not the best New Wave I've ever heard, but not bad either.
This album is a personal favourite. Amazing songwriting and arrangements, an artist at their peak.

It was a pleasant listen.
Great album, felt like I was having a party.
I'm not the biggest Queen fan, there stuff seems a little all over the place for me. But, I still recognize greatness when I hear it.
I really look the Stones foray into country rock which you're starting to see on this album. It's not my favourite of their's though so only a 4.
Two stars, for the first two songs from the Royal Tenenbaums which I actually like. Her schtick got old real fast after that.
Perfect score. So sad that this was his last album before he took his own life. You could hear the massive step forward Figure 8 was in his career. Still makes me sad to this day his loss and the loss to the world of music.
I couldn't find the specific album so I can only give a four, but ever since I sat Treme I've loved me some Fats. My favourite of the early rock and roll era pioneers.
I'm a big fan of this album. Think Mayfield is a genius, great concept album soundtrack and love the use of strings.
Very solid, they don't call her the queen of soul for nothing.
Really enjoyed it, solid sixties folk album.
Very enjoyable album. Standard 4 for something I liked a lot, but didn't fall in love with.
As much as I love sitar, adding it to lacklustre songs doesn't make them bangers. There were some great songs on this album but the sitar ones weren't them.
I've been meaning to check out some of Badu's stuff. That's something I like about this album generator. I liked this album quite a bit, what I expected really.
Cheese af. Not the kind of thing I enjoy listening too normally.
Not really my thing but I enjoyed it. Great, creative writing and decent beats.
I've tried listening to this album twice, I want to like it. This time after listening to 9 songs it killed my good mood, I couldn't imagine listening to another 60 so I put on some Fats Domino again to cheer me up. It almost worked.
I love Zappa, Hot Rats is great because it shows his great skills as a guitarist and bandleader.
Enjoyable, you can really get a sense from this band's move from early 60s blue eyed soul/doo wop to a more psychedelic sound. Interesting.
She's awesome.
Why did I have to listen to this?
More than just one song. Enjoyable and influential.
The easiest album to find in the vinyl section at hock shops. Some, catchy tunes, but I find a lot of them annoying and pedestrian.
Great album, don't think I'd ever listened to the whole thing before. Dum Dum Girls was a standout for me.
Enjoyed it but didn't think it was spectacular. Standard 3.
How could you give anything but a 5 for this classic. What a band and what an album!
Great great great stuff. My second favourite British punk band.
Right on the cusp of alt-folk and alt-country. Love it.
Very solid and enjoyable album.
If only I could have given this a nine. Not quite a 10 cause of some filler, but I feel a 4 out of 5 (80%) is not quite accurate enough. 1983 is a personal favourite of mine when it comes to Jimi.
I'd give it a 7, or with this rating system a 3. Maybe his recent antics have influenced me.
I really enjoy this kind of krautrock. I preferred the instrumental songs much more to the ones with vocals though.
I really enjoyed it, was the kind of album I was looking to hear more of with this generator thing. Sometime outside of my normal stuff.
Great album, it's hard to believe despite all the turmoil the band was going through they were able to produce something this damn good.
Duh, classic album, only a 5.
They 're good moments are very good, but feel there's too much filler in their work.
Never heard them before but really liked it. Will give this band further listens in the future.
While admittedly not the most exciting album, I'm a big fan of the Byrds and their members' solo work. Loved it.
Love some New Orleans Dr. John. Wasn't his best but still enjoyed it thoroughly.
Less Flava Flav is a big plus, liked this one much better than "it takes a nation of millions".
Perfect, just what I was looking for on a cloud Saturday. Really well made.
I wanted to like this more than I did. Kind of reminded me of Syd Barrett but not as good.
Ziggy goes to America. I love this album, I think it's my 4th favourite Bowie. A great chaotic follow-up to Spiders. The piano work is incredible.
My favourite Boss. Direct, to the point, powerful. Johnny 99 forever.
Love Tribe, I like the next few albums more though, feel like they were still finding their way with this one. Regardless, it's another 4.5 (5) stars.
High school me liked this a lot. I just find it so boring though now.
Groundbreaking and fun. Perfect little album.
Another new wave classic. The whole album flows together so well.
Isn't what I would usually listen to, but that might have to change now. Really fantastic.
I know it's not for everyone, but I got into Scott Walker after died the year before last. Ingmar Bergman forever.
Easy to listen to and overall enjoyable.
Quite enjoyable.
It grew on me as I listened to it. Wasn't enjoying it but by the end I was really into it. So I listened to it again, almost a throwback to older folk from the sixties.
"Man, that guys guitar is talking." "Hey, my shoes are talking too." "Don't worry, we wont hurt you, we only want to have some fun."
These guys rock, Oliver's Army is one the all time best.
