What on earth is this album supposed to be
I really did not love the style or the music. It was sort of whiny and lame in my opinion.
I thought this was a cool album for sure! I liked the vibes and felt that it was quite silly but in a fun way. I really appreciate how it wasn't as serious as a lot of the other albums from this decade that we've gotten (looking at you Bee Gees)
I think this is an incredible work, and it is truly so unique and beautiful. Her voice is so iconic, and the piano is really amazing too.
This was not a good album. I feel like even if it's so perfect for the movie, that does not make it a good album on its own (as you said Kix). Lame!
Music was pretty good, but the lyrics killed me. If I could give half stars, I'd rate it 2.5 because I felt it was overwhelmingly average
my favorite songs were the wizard and NIB (but that one is like together with two other songs). i thought the guitar solos were super cool, the lyrics were wild, and i could really see how this changed the course of metal music.
Favorite tracks: 1. Starman (obvi) 2. Lady Stardust 3. Ziggy Stardust (obvi) 4. Rock'n'Roll Suicide Bowie is a fuckin' legend. Great album.
This album is amazing! My most favorite track is Rudy (it's so 70s) and I hella love the temp changes. I also really like If Everyone Was Listening and Dreamer. Sick sounds, would listen again.
What on earth is this album supposed to be
I thought it was p good :)
I liked it for sure, but i don't know if it's one of the best albums of all time. It wasn't as memorable as others to me.
Way better than I anticipated, and his vocal range really impressed me. My favorite tracks were Suspicious Minds (that's my fav Elvis song tho), Gentle on my Mind, In the Ghetto, and I'll Hold you in my Heart
somehow it was worse than Springsteen
I liked it a lot -- it was quite strange, but I thought that there were some sick instrumental parts, and he has a really nice voice. I liked Without You, Jump into the Fire, and The Moonbeam Song, but the Coconut song is also a straight up classic.
it was pretty good, but i am not the biggest fan of this style of reggae. I liked Your Love Gets Sweeter and Sunday Shining the best.
A classic. I love The Rockafeller Skank, Gangster Trippin, and Soul Surfing. I wouldn't just listen to the album probably, but it's great party music.
I could have gone my whole life and not heard this album. It was straight garbage.
It was fine, nothing life-altering for me. I liked the song Charlotte, but I felt like it was just an okay album.
Sick beats, sick lyrics. I loved this album and I thought that the commentary was scathing and also still poignant. My favorite tracks were 911 Is a Joke, Fight the Power, and Power to the People, but I liked all the songs (instrumentals included).
It was p good. I liked War Pigs (obvi) and The Real Thing the most
idk about this. I liked Sunflower and Wild Wood, but overall it was too country-folksy ish
Low-key it was p good. I actually liked the sound of it, and the lyrics made it better for me than modern country. I liked I'm a Lonesome Fugitive, Life in Prison, and If You Want to be my Woman
The lyrics were trash, the piano was trash, and his voice was trash. Hated it.
It was pretty good, but I got kinda tired of those stupid background vocals by the end (like that tiny voice repeating everything he was singing)
I thought this album was full of bops! The obvious hit is Alright, but I loved the first track maybe even more than that one!
Idk about this, like it was fine but also completely forgettable.
One of my favorite albums of all time. My favorite track has been and always will be Momma, followed closely by King Kunta and Alright.
This album was a straight classic man, I fuckin loved it.
It was pretty good, I liked the dream-pop sort of style it had going on for sure.
it was a sort of fine from me.
This is a solid album! The music is great, the concepts are wild -- it's all around a good/interesting listen.
This was really not my style, I thought it was too repetitive.
It was pretty good -- the music was very catchy and he has a great voice, but there was just something really weird about the lyrics to me.
It was a solid album, but I feel like as his 15th studio album, it wasn't as innovative as some of his older stuff. I also found the song "I Met a Little Girl" problematic.
this was not for me
It was actually quite good i thought, I really liked the first couple of songs!
Ehh it was pretty good, but I stand by my opinion that they were one-hit wonders with Come on Eileen.
It was a good album! I really liked the music, and the overall vibe.
great album, I forgot how much i liked it!
Thanks, I hated it.
This album was really cool! I liked the mix of sounds and styles, and I do think it's funny that their name is "The Band"
It was pretty good, but I wish that I could rate half stars because ideally I'd give it 2.5
It was too much random noise for me, not a fan.
This had some classic hits on it, I was into the whole vibe.
I thought it was wild, and I didn't really like it. I feel like it had a lot of cool parts but the way they were put together was just too chaotic for my taste.
I actually loved this album. It was so cool and had such a sick vibe. I wanted more at the end!
It wasn't my favorite but it had some cool spots in it.
No thank you Leonard. I didn't like the singing or the music, and I feel like it's bs that he's on this list tbh.
Ehh it was pretty good, but like pretty similar to the other albums we've gotten from this decade.
I thought this was a cool album for sure! I liked the vibes and felt that it was quite silly but in a fun way. I really appreciate how it wasn't as serious as a lot of the other albums from this decade that we've gotten (looking at you Bee Gees)
absolute fire. such a great album, and it had a lot of Blondie's hits on it
Ehh, it was a little bit whispery and weird. I appreciated the music, but not so much the singing.
I wanted to like this so much, but it was too grungy for me. Kinda bummed me out to listen to it, and I felt like I couldn't relate to the content at all.
She has a great voice! I can't say I love the type of music she makes, but I still enjoyed listening to it.
all the songs sounded the same, and they were all just okay. It was too much whining and too monotone for me.
If only I had discovered this during my angsty teenage years! Love the angst, the rage, and the drama
I liked this album, though I am not sure that I think it's anything too special. I liked the vibes and the sound for sure
it was pretty good, but i felt like it wasn't too special. i really liked the music but i thought the lyrics were lacking at times
I did not like this at all. It felt contrived and rude and judgmental. I didn't mind the country/folksy music but I expected more from the Byrds
I really liked this, though I found some of the songs to be a bit too long/repetitive (which is generally what I don't like about reggae). Overall though it had good vibes, and I liked the cool 80s elements you could hear in it as well.
This is a classic album for sure -- great music, great vibes. I definitely liked it a lot
This was not a good album. I feel like even if it's so perfect for the movie, that does not make it a good album on its own (as you said Kix). Lame!
I just couldn't get behind this to be honest, and I really wanted to like it. It was just too much noise, not enough music.
I really did not love the style or the music. It was sort of whiny and lame in my opinion.
This is a really classic album, and I am a big fan of Pink Floyd. I love the emotion in this album -- in the music and the lyrics.
I think this is an incredible work, and it is truly so unique and beautiful. Her voice is so iconic, and the piano is really amazing too.
I really didn't love this album. I thought it was pretty monotonous and not super interesting. It felt like a middle school-esque angst type of album.
I love this album, it's just so full of good vibes!
This album was pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of this genre of pop but I thought the vocals were incredible (obvi) and it was super fun to listen to.
I was not a fan of this album at all. I thought the "singing" was terrible, and it felt like it was off-beat or each member of the band was doing their own thing. It wasn't all bad but it was not good either.
Obviously a great album, with great vocals and a lot of classics on it! I really enjoyed it :)
I thought this was a really sick jazz album. It was so moody and emotional, loved that.
This album is garbage. The lyrics sucked, the music sucked, and I hated it.
It's pretty good for sure, a solid album and quite silly/satirical at times, which I liked.
This is a good album, def a classic.
Like it was nice sounds, but I wouldn't necessarily call it music.
it was pretty good, like definitely some solid 80s synth going on, but idk if we really needed to hear this album.
I really liked this album! It was so funky and dancy, quite different than a lot of the other stuff we have listened to so far
It was pretty good. I'd heard a lot of the songs before, but metal isn't my favorite tbh
this is a great album! Missy is so cool and I absolutely love seeing this on the list
It was obviously great, but it wasn't as good as his other stuff we have heard so far.
It was indeed a dance mania moment. This album slaps.
It was pretty solid, very fun 80s pop! I liked it
I thought it was alright, but nothing too special. I found the singing to be very monotonous, and not in an interesting way.
I really loved the classics on this album of course, but I did feel that the content about Indigenous peoples was really problematic.
I hated this.
I really didn't like the music -- it all sounded the same to me -- but I feel bad about it this time because I feel like he was really talented at playing the instruments.
This was fine, definitely a bit much for my taste tho.
Ehh it was fine, but I'm not a huge fan of bob dylan.
It was pretty good, a little country for my taste, but it was pretty nice to listen to regardless.
I thought some of the songs were too long and repetitive so it wasn't my favorite, but I still liked it.
it was really fun and different! I really appreciate the wide range of instruments and vocals, but it was just not my favorite type of music for sure.
I didn't like it. It sounded like a bunch of noise, not music.
A classic album and even tho parts of it are problematic, I still really liked the way it sounded.
It was okay, definitely not my favorite though.
I liked this album quite a bit. Weirdly, it gave me almost Khraungbin vibes
It was good 80s synth-pop, but at the end of the day that isn't so spectacular to me. I liked it tho, overall.
I had no idea that this was the band who did all those classic songs, but I loved it! It was good vibes and fun music :)
this was so different than any other music I ever listen to and I loved it!
it wasn't bad, but it didn't have anything particularly interesting going on either.
It was fine, but I'm not a huge fan of grunge or the Smashing Pumpkins, so it was not my favorite.
It's a good album, just not exactly my favorite style of music
It was a solid album, I definitely liked the folksy and bluesy blend of styles.
I really don't love soundgarden but I fully get the appeal after listening to this album! It was interesting and it had a really cool perspective, so I liked it.
This album slaps, obviously.
