Court And Spark
Joni MitchellThis album was so BORING. It wasn't actively *bad*, but I just didn't care about it.

Starts with a bang. Aside from one or two more bangs, this is ass.
Straight fuck this
Found it mostly alright. Was expecting something more "up" when I saw it was the beach boys. YTMusic's tidbit about it being album number 17 should maybe have given away a little more about why that wasn't gonna be the case.
The style of this whole album just wasn't for me. I'm torn between 1 and 2. I was gonna be generous, and actually, I will be, I made it the whole way through
Good album flow, pleasant background listening. Nothing mind-blowing present, but the cohesion I think makes up and pulls it up to 4 stars.
Easy 5/5, I really like a few of these songs, Lynott has an amazing statue you really should see, and for flow I guess you can't beat a live performance. I did previously think I really didn't like live versions of songs, but after a whole album I think I realise where I've been going wrong.
Flowed fairly well. nothing truly banging. 3.5/5
I love `I Wanna Be Your Dog`. Not in love with the rest of the album. 3.5/5 if I could.
Started strong with a nice bop. Not a fan of the middle part of manchild. Surprised by how much I liked phoney ladies. I actually liked a lot of this album. Pleasant surprise. 4/5 I listened a second time, it gets up to a cool 5 because I felt good about it. I'm still thinking about this album the next morning. Wow

A full hour of very good listening. Started how it meant to continue. Initially I was gonna go 4 but I think it's a soft 5
Very good start with smooth operator. Pleasant background listening. I was surprised when it was over, left wanting more. Good album I think
This was not for me, but it wasn't terrible.
Ehhhhh
Found it mostly alright. Was expecting something more "up" when I saw it was the beach boys. YTMusic's tidbit about it being album number 17 should maybe have given away a little more about why that wasn't gonna be the case.
Good listening, not blow me away great, but good
It was good
I do actually like multiple songs on this album. I enjoy it and admit my normalcore tastes sometimes
A floor of quality that is middling at least. No real bops, which I expected when I saw I knew none of the singles from the track list. I'm sure this album works for someone, but it's not me.
This feels like somewhat similar to Irish music with British lyrics. I can't get behind this tomfoolery
Yeah it was alright
Kind of droney and samey the whole way through
It was alright, more good than bad but not thrilling
Very up and down. There's the songs you know and the songs you don't
Didn't really speak to me until I got to "Ain't the devil happy". May be my whiteness or my relative normalcore tastes, but overall it wasn't hugely for me. But the nuggets that reached me told me there's something here.
Started on a high I think. It didn't really stay there, but the initial impression went a long way. Rest of it really let's down I think. Final rating is a weird balance

Straight fuck this
I think it's a high 3. Standout being My Perfect Cousin, as the "I've heard this one a million times" if this album. Generally pleasant but not banging enough to earn a 4, but just misses.
Enjoyable the whole way through. Put me in a good mood. Sweet Talkin woman and Mr blue sky highlights for me
Pleasant but alright
Better than I thought it would be
It was alright, it kind of washed over me, but I wasn't offended
Extreme ehs
The style of this whole album just wasn't for me. I'm torn between 1 and 2. I was gonna be generous, and actually, I will be, I made it the whole way through
Money for nothing is good, but those lyrics Jesus. Walk of life is like an old person wedding song. The rest of it very slow and not what I thought it would be. Generous three
Noticed this was the one with angels, old before I die, and let me entertain you, so hopes are high. I've never actually heard a lot of the non singles on this, but they're not bad. Almost carried to a four on the strength of roaring along to let me entertain you, but not quite
Just flowed over me not making a huge impression
Wasn't amazing, wasn't bad. Right down the middle. Didn't realise it had ended, which usually means I didn't hate it haha
Pump it up is the bright light. The rest is ok
Steel drums to begin with, might be a hidden gem? Ah yes, I did know paper planes, it's good and nostalgic for a particular time. Another to the crew of "oh it's over already" so that's a good sign. Left with some good feels about this, even though I didn't think it'd score so highly
Thought it might reach the minimum of good mindless music to program to. It didn't. No bright spots. Didn't know when to end in the middle of the deluxe, but i had enough.
Ooh, sax. Whenever, wherever, whatever is how I feel about this album. High expectations from the start and then *blow raspberry*
Very pleasing with some bangers in a row
This was pretty good. Rolled from hit to hit
Actually genuinely good. Never heard any of the not hits on this and I like them.
Feels very jam session but recorded. Fuck this
It was alright. Nothing special. Left me wanting more, but not enough
Start very strong with tiny dancer. Not as many bangers later on but still a good time.
Quite very good, but just misses out on excellent
The most three star album I've had on this. Two stars
I think above average in general. Some of it reminded me of ape escape for some reason, which is never a bad thing.
Not what I feel was advertised by yt music's description or the album cover
I guess it was fine. Some good. Undeniably so. Begrudgingly positive
It's a lot different feel to what I normally listen to but I liked it.
Some nice smooth jazz. Again not my style but I couldn't complain about this one and it gets a positive mark.
The creep factor here is really off the charts. The choice here is between one and two frankly
Not to besmirch the good name of the chemical brothers. But this isn't great at all
Nope nope nope
Undeniably a talented musician. Good album from before widely known that what he was being taken advantage of who knows. Jesus walks is a good nostalgia track
Continued on into the bonus tracks with no complaints from me. Good album.
Pleasant but non exciting
It flew by, and I don't remember a thing about it. So it can't have been actively bad. But also not good
Not my jam
Enjoyable throughout
I honestly don't know that I listened to the album versions of a lot of these songs, or heard some of them before at all even. Album is still pretty good despite the JV of it sometimes
This was actually pretty good
This was pretty good. Some nostalgia tracks
This was shit
This fell off the note I thought it was riffing on Bowie stuff. Some bright lights, but not enough
This was actually very quite good. And leads me to believe that being a few years younger than Taylor, and a few years behind the curve means I should be getting into all this shit right now
Ah it was crap
Where was the oomph?
Cack
Actually meh
This was very very good. And even though it contains the accursed fairytale, it also has a version of the Irish Rover with the Dubliners. Fiesta isn't bad either.
Absolute great stuff
As a friend described it's "perfume floating in a man's hat kind of stuff"
Not blown away by this
This was pretty good actually
Not necessarily for me but hard to disagree that it's good
Very underwhelming. The well known songs weren't enough to bring this up
Started well but kind of fell off
Pretty good, but some of the less popular tracks i feel weren't as stellar as I feel this album's reputation has
Pretty good. Love rock lobster
From initial enthusiasm, just kept falling
Good start. Some other good spots. Would be a 5 if it had riders on the storm
The bright spots in this one are extra bright, because the dim parts are soooo shit
It's actually good, and from before they became insufferable arseholes
This is pretty fucking good
Very Very good title album
Nothing is lighting me on fire about this
besides "Epic", meh
Worth it for Song 2 alone
Wasn't great honestly
