** This is a live album / compilation (I give these all 1 star) ** I don't consider these to be albums in the sense of the albums from the book. The album's from the list are art statements greater than the songs themselves made in the moment. A retrospective of unconnected songs doesn't qualify. Further, while metal is not really my jam, so maybe I just don't get it. I didn't really think there was anything new or clever here. The music is done well, but every time the singer talked to the crowd I cringed.

by Yello
Yello was one of those bands that I was surprised had no albums in the book. I guess they're not for everyone. Some people may think it's too facile, or that "Oh Yeah" was just a novelty song, but I love their music. It's simplicity and classic images and symbolism work for me, and the songs are fun. Of this album proper, I find the songs are all hits to me except for Desert Inn and Let Me Cry.
