1001 Albums Summary

Just listened to it a couple days before it came up. Nice to see all the Canadian content on the extras list. Solid folk, liked it. I'm working on a top 100 Canadian Album list and this came up on it.

It was good to listen to. I've got a rule: Live albums and greatest hits albums don't count usually. If this is about greatest albums, we should be talking about a crafted collection of songs released at the same time. Still, I did enjoy listening to this.

Prefer their self-titled album that's on the list, or Demon Days. This to me is a weaker and less catchy Gorillaz album

** This is a live album / compilation (I give these all 1 star) ** I don't consider these to be albums in the sense of the albums from the book. The album's from the list are art statements greater than the songs themselves made in the moment. A retrospective of unconnected songs from the last 3 decades doesn't qualify. That said, I of course enjoyed the music.
