This was short but after a couple songs felt too similar

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Sep 24 2023

Some good songs, although a bit too country for me, could see me enjoying it on a road trip

Dry by PJ Harvey

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Sep 26 2023

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor

Horses by Patti Smith

Lovely enthusiasm from the singer. The poetry is a little off putting at times, but overall the sounds flow well through the album. The first track is an absolute banger as well.

You Are The Quarry by Morrissey
Oct 05 2023

The singing is great, it’s a great singer songwriter album. Really fun music, really good at what he does. Nothing ground breaking, but any song from the album is really a good time

Happy Trails by Quicksilver Messenger Service
Oct 06 2023

Interesting chords and wildy progressive for the time, however there isnt enough here for me to be wowed. Its some cool chords that were on the front at the time, but years later it is hard to find enjoyment in thsi when theyre are better records

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Oct 07 2023

Great Riffs, great songs. First song and sultans of swing have incredible riffs, inaccurate vibes. The singing is kinda boring, not much special there, but not more complaints than that 4/5

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Oct 13 2023

Trash, didn’t like it

Court And Spark by Joni Mitchell
Oct 15 2023

Quite good, although I find myself zoning out a lot of the time. Good story but not much to draw me in

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Oct 17 2023

Quite boring, all the songs are similar

Freak Out! by The Mothers Of Invention
Oct 18 2023

Okay but still a lot of 50’s influence in what is supposed to be a progressive rock album

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Oct 19 2023

Great album I thought. Great sounds, great lyrics. Only thing that’s off putting is the length, as well as the focus on Illinois

The Slider by T. Rex
Oct 20 2023

It was okay, but nothing really stood our to me.

1984 by Van Halen
Oct 22 2023

This was short but after a couple songs felt too similar

Sheet Music by 10cc

Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday
Dec 10 2023

Not really my style of music, gets quite stale throughout the whole album. Lovely voice however.

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Dec 12 2023

Quite good. Love the prison aspect

Headquarters by The Monkees
Dec 13 2023

Holy Shit. I hate the 60's music. I cant, its just so boring so much of the time. The beatles are good, but goddamn everything else is so bland and boring.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Dec 14 2023

I really think I'm going to give this a 5. It just fits what I like so well. There's a great mix between slow and fast, techno and acoustic and the singing is amazing. All of the beats hit so well, and I truly adore this album

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Dec 16 2023

Quite long, but for the time period, what a piece of music.

The Contino Sessions by Death In Vegas
Dec 17 2023

This was a weird album. Some of the sounds i can get behind, but some of the songs are so long with little change in progression. You need something to change in a song, otherwise the staleness sets in. However, the songs with singing in them, which there was only a couple of, provided the best content on the album. The singing wasn't fantastic by any means, but it added so much charatcer to the sounds they were producing. More songs should have been voice included.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Dec 19 2023

Look, its hard to judge an album when you have heard all of the songs before. I think there is a reason that I have, because many songs on this album are hits. However, when you combine them all together, it all becomes very same same. Same baseline hits, same chorus catches, same everything. These songs are great when you just want to hear a 'rock' song, but together, it is not an amazingly enjoyable experience.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Dec 20 2023

So many classics in this record. Overall, its great. Not much to say, its thriller. Biggest album of all time.

Slayed? by Slade
Dec 21 2023

This was an interesting one. Coming out in 1972, that surprised me, but some of the songs on here were quite good. However, with 50 years of music after it, it has lost some of its original charm. I wasnt around then, but if i was i reckon id give it 5 stars

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Jan 21 2024
The La's by The La's
Jan 22 2024

Kinda boring, not sure
