1001 Albums Summary

So glad I listened. Perfect for lazy day and a glass of wine 5/5

Never having dived deeply into the Beatles, there were some songs here that I have never heard. I don't know how often I would chose to listen again, but it's a great album. Tomorrow never knows is a song I will revisit. The production is so ahead of its time.

I was dreading the day I had to listen to 80s pop. This one is not for me. Mercy street was a nice suprise

Its great British pop. I personally dislike this, but can appreciate it's significance in the genre

I'll probably never listen to this again, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

It was fine. Nothing stood out for me, but it was pleasant to listen to some old familiar songs and many I had not heard before

I enjoyed the music, but all the songs sounded the same.

Not my favorite Rolling Stones album, but still a fun listen.

Loved this album. My partner is a metal head. I can't listen to some of his music, but some I actually like. Now I can add Iron Madien to the list of likes. The clear and intelligent vocals set them apart for me!

I probably would have scored this one higher if the subject matter was not so cringe. I did enjoy the music and listening to French music makes me feel fancy.

It's Dolly, what's not to love!! I was actually a little surprised at some of the subject matter in If I Lose My Mind. I really loved the positive messages. Early Morning Breeze makes me think Dolly also wakes and bakes lol

I like some metal, I really do. I will listen to the iron maiden album again, but I just couldn't get through this one. I am not saying they caused the headache I still can't get rid of after 24 hours, but I'm not saying they didn't.

This is kind of my jam. I have listened to the XX often as they tend to come up when I let my player continue to play similar music as somethng else I have chosen. It's not really groundbreaking music, but I like it a lot.

The enemy is my enemy is my friend?? While I prefer some love and light as weapons to combat the hypocritical, fascist Christian right, I get where he is coming from. I didn't expect to like this and I don't know why he was canceled so I am not considering that in my rating. Dug the music, too.

I kind of missed the Kate Bush Era and was excited to listen. A truly great album. Lyrics+music A+

This was a surprising treat. Reminded me of the Doors and I love the Doors. Good music, and lyrics that say something.

Deserves 10 out of 5 the musical piece of history that it is. So glad this is preserved for us
