While I wasn't a fan of the overall production of the album, I appreciated the energy, the chunky guitar rhythms, and depth and subject matter of them lyrics. Not something I could find myself listening to regularly.

I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You by Aretha Franklin

A fantastic soul album! Aretha fills every song with emotion whether its anger, pain, or joy. Pleasantly surprised to find a couple of Sam Cooke covers on the album too!

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths

I would like this album more as an instrumental. The music is really good. However, even with pushing down my dislike of Morrissey, I find the vocals and lyrics to be boring, distracting, and pretentious. Not an enjoyable listen overall for me.
