Popular Reviews

American Beauty by Grateful Dead

I absolutely love this band - very chilled out, great lyricism and some absolute classics. I can understand people not being into it but for me it hits the spot on a quiet monday morning

Superunknown by Soundgarden

Feels like a 3.5 - lots of songs I really enjoyed, but the album was too long and a bit same-y towards the end. Would listen to some tracks again, but probably not the whole album

A lot more atmospheric than expected

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Nov 08 2025

Ethereal and relaxing, while missing the flair of some other bands of the era

Tonight's The Night by Neil Young
Nov 09 2025

Not my sort of music, but definitely up there in quality for the genre to me

The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers
Nov 14 2025

Great album, fantastic messaging and theming, but sonically got a bit boring by the end

Hot Shots II by The Beta Band
Nov 20 2025

Weird but enjoyable

What a surprising album - I love a good concept/rock opera album, and this really hit the spot

Drunk by Thundercat
Dec 25 2025

Wasn't sure at first, as the first couple songs are pretty full-on, but as it turned to more of a funk vibe than jazz I was really into it. Probably closer to a 3.5/5

American Beauty by Grateful Dead
Dec 29 2025

I absolutely love this band - very chilled out, great lyricism and some absolute classics. I can understand people not being into it but for me it hits the spot on a quiet monday morning

The Specials by The Specials
Dec 30 2025

Good vibes but gets old towards the end of the album

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Jan 02 2026

Fantastic, great energy, perfect length. Probably won't listen to the whole album again, but there were a lot of highlights

Abbey Road by Beatles
Jan 06 2026

It's a fantastic album - used to really find Here Comes the Sun jarring in the listing, but this time I really felt that it fit well

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Jan 11 2026

Phenomenal vibes

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jan 12 2026

Feels like a 3.5 - lots of songs I really enjoyed, but the album was too long and a bit same-y towards the end. Would listen to some tracks again, but probably not the whole album

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
Jan 15 2026

Delightful. Emotional and enthralling

Metallica by Metallica
Jan 16 2026

Did not expect to like this as much as I did - I knew I liked Unforgiven and a couple others, but really don't like Master of Puppets. However this album really resonated with me

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jan 17 2026
Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Jan 18 2026

Look, I'm biased because of SSX Tricky, but this album slaps

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Jan 20 2026

Nice energy, puts me in mind of Bob Dylan and Grateful Dead, though I think I prefer those two to this. Loved The Weight though

Tommy by The Who
Jan 21 2026

I think I'm biased against it because of how much I love Quadrophenia, however it's still phenomenal. Will need to listen to it again with my full attention

Brothers by The Black Keys
Jan 25 2026
Jan 26 2026

Great album but I'd say the mix can feel a bit lacking outside of the mid to high. Loved Hollow.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Feb 03 2026

Damn, what a good album. So many bangers!

More Specials by The Specials
Feb 04 2026

Not really my thing, but enjoyable nonetheless

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Feb 08 2026

I really, really like listening to 20-30 mins of Bob Dylan, but it just doesn't do it for me for the whole album.

Black Metal by Venom
Feb 13 2026

A really important album for the metal genre, but not really my thing. A couple of tracks I might listen to again
