1001 Albums Summary

Fun album. Haven't spent much time with Elvis outside of some of the hits. Interesting to see some of the variety within an album. Some of the lyrics/song writing is a bit rough, but the music itself was enjoyable.

I've never listened through a full Run D.M.C. album before. I was a bit concerned after the first song that it was going to be a struggle to get through. But the rest of the album went a bit smoother. There's definitely some bangers and iconic songs on here. I appreciate the uniqueness of their style, but some of the constant yelling and interjections gets annoying. But also works very well on some songs.

Don't know that id ever listened to Wu-Tang before. Could definitely see their influence in modern hip hop which was fun to see.

Loved it. Couple down songs but mostly music I enjoyed

I actually really enjoyed this album (and whatever music came up after it ended). Will have to check out more in this style

I really enjoyed the beginning of the album and was excited to listen through it, but I felt like the back half kind of simmered down and wasn't as enjoyable as the LZ I've come to expect

Was a bit long for me and I started to lose interest towards the end, but most of the music was enjoyable

This one needed context. The opening track didn't excite me and sounded more like spoken poetry over a back track. But upon learning about the history of the album and the state Leonard was in at the time, it became much more powerful.

Liked the music itself, but not a fan of live performances and this was not a great one specifically
