Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Apr 13 2024

I haven't listened to much rock lately and this folk/rock album was refreshing. The lyrics seemed complex and I didn't expect the flute to work so well.

Apr 14 2024

Obviously I have heard a lot about Johnny Cash, but haven't listened to much previously. Overall enjoyed more than I thought I would, but most songs sounded the same. Ending his final album released during his life with "We'll Meet Again" hit hard.

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Apr 15 2024

Harmonica! Solid rock album with a cohesive sound. Easy to listen to.

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
Apr 16 2024

Delightful. I recognized a few songs and happily listened to the album a few times today.

Apr 17 2024

I haven't given jazz much of a chance before. I still can't say it's for me, but felt like I could start to get why it's enjoyed.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Apr 18 2024

First Stevie Wonder album. A lot of different styles meshed together really well here. Listened a few times and it flowed easily.

Achtung Baby by U2
Apr 19 2024

Didn't grab my attention and somewhat cringey lyrics.

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Apr 20 2024

Interesting and easy to listen to sound. Not particularly memorable but would listen to again.

Miriam Makeba by Miriam Makeba
Apr 21 2024

Beautiful voice. I enjoyed hearing some music with African influence for a change. Miriam was an amazing person who fought for what she believed in. A couple songs were quite irritating, but enjoyed the rest.

Back At The Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith
Apr 23 2024

I don't typically go for jazz, but enjoyed listening to this in the background while cooking dinner.

Revolver by Beatles
Apr 24 2024

First Beatles album. Interesting to spend some time listening to such an influential album.

Arc Of A Diver by Steve Winwood
Apr 25 2024

Classic 80s sound. Cliche now but enjoyable.

Made In Japan by Deep Purple
Apr 27 2024

Strong rock sound. Very long songs, drag on with the instrumentals but I imagine they were excellent live. Good quality sound for live album. I only recognized Smoke on the Water so was happy to hear more of their music.

Vivid by Living Colour
Apr 28 2024

A few great songs here. Solid rock album that I would listen to again.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Apr 29 2024
S&M by Metallica
May 03 2024

Interesting collaboration. Very repetitive sounds and not something I think I'd listen to again.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
May 11 2024

Apparently I just do not like jazz.

Young Americans by David Bowie
May 12 2024

A couple great songs. Not what I expected for Bowie.
