Hyperactive, anarchic, but absolutely fluid with unexpectedly nuanced songwriting.

How did I not have this album committed to memory when I was in high school? Great stuff.

Angsty, adolescent, and humorless. It hasn’t aged well, but still, moments of real brilliance shine through.

Amazed that this is the first time I’ve listened to this full album. That’s all.

Claustrophobic and gloomy, occasionally self indulgent, timeless and gorgeous.

Spectacular summation of British rock up through 1994 - great songwriting, amazing production, fantastic production.

Objectively great songwriting and performance, but personally, the songs really hit or really miss.

Meh. If they were going to put so much effort into this, they should have figured out how to write a song first.

Clearly very talented, but the ballads are overwrought and the Bob Dylan homage is waaaay too thick.
