First album for this project. Already I can tell that I'm going to have to decide how to rate based on whether these albums are objectively musically good or based on how much I like it. Because I'm super specific in the music I like. Like I objectively think this album is good so far, but it's none of the songs I would listen to again so far.
10 songs in and yep very bluesy.
Ah yes Layla is very good and I've def heard it many times. Idk why this album would be one of the best of all time with only one banger IMOOOOO.
I think this is a perfect first album for me because I am very neutral about it, so I will give it a 3/5.
Fav song is the first two minutes of Layla lol.
Actually I also like Thorn Tree in the Garden too.

Listening to the deluxe version.
New Feeling is giving me Queens of the Stone Age vibes?? Blasphemy??
I don't think this album will be memorable for me, but it's generally nice to listen to. Psycho Killer is obvs good, and I also like Pulled Up.
The rest was fine. 3/5
Sept. 11, 2024
Ah yes, Le Freak. Groovy. I actually don't like that song much. I think cartoons and animated shows ruined it.
Okay At Last I Am Free is driving me crazy!!!! Terrible and annoying! Also funny bc I could listen to Daft Punk's Around the World for hours so I feel like a hypocrite. But I need a groovy bass line then! Ah!
I wanted to like it more than I actually did ):
3/5
Sept. 12, 2024
I need to stop reading the Wiki and reviews before I finish the album bc I feel like I just bias myself into liking or disliking an album. Anyway, this one was good. I might listen to it again, so
4/5
Sept. 13, 2024
This is truly a Friday the 13th album for me because I HATE TOM PETTY (rip) sorry!!!! I just can't deal with his voice it angers me. Aka I'm pre-biased with this album.
Okay Rockin' Around was fine. But I hate the weird pseudo-spanish accent in the beginning of Breakdown.
Damn it! I don't hate it! AH! But I still hate his stupid face!
Okay I do still hate American Girl.
3/5
Sept. 16, 2024
I've never listened to Radiohead besides their popular songs (I assume, I don't think I could name one anyway), but I can tell I will like this one already based off of the first one.
Okay 3rd song in and I'm bored.
It's good, I think I would've liked it more if I were younger idk how to explain that.
4/5

Oh my god it's 1.5 hrs...
I really like the album cover I think.
I have the lyrics open to try and appreciate what they are saying in the songs bc I'm usually not a lyric person. Some of the songs have interesting lyrics kinda and then you're hit with a wtf line. Something something South rises up again??? Rises up again to do what exactly?? Do I even need to ask?? But then you're hit with The Southern Thing and I'm confused again (bc I'm probably not paying enough attention).
I'm so bored and not even on Disc 2.......
"...the devil is also a southerner"
Okay I definitely feel like this is some sort of country punk with how wildly progressive these songs seem to be.
I see a lot of other reviews complaining about how much they mention Lynyrd Skynyrd but like that's the point of the album.
In the end just too long for me but I also get it.
3/5
Sept. 18, 2024
I'm excited for this one because I like the hardcore genre (post-hardcore??), but I've never been able to get into punk, so I don't think I'll end up liking this as much as I want to.
Hmmm yeah this was fine, just not my thing I guess. Very classic punk.
3.5/4

More punk lezzgo.
Yep I like this a lot; less punk imo and more industrial which is also what the wiki suggests. This is exactly what I've been into lately-loud, intense, aggressive, angry. Scratches that itch for me.
Apparently some of the lyrics are ehh where he's tried to over justify what he says, but I can barely understand what he's singing, so I'm rating for the vibe in the end.
V enjoyable, and my first 5/5
I've been busy while listening, but me likey
Such an icon, but after reading his Wiki he seems like such a sad creep.
Still a fun album to listen to even though it's not necessarily my preferred genre of music.
Once again, I don't usually listen to music for the lyrics so this is booorrrrriiiingggggg...
Loooooove White Winter Hymnal, the rest is fine and not memorable for me.
Oh man I don't even want to listen to this.......
Unfortunately this is really good.
The last few songs really killed this album for me.
I kept going back and forth about whether I should do a 4 or 5 star, so I think I would give it 4.5 (rounding up to 5 bc who cares).
I really didn't like the first half of The Love Below side, but the songs after the phenomenal Hey Ya were quite good. If I listened to lyrics in music, I probably would have enjoyed it even more.
Oh yeah this is an EASY 5 iconic album
I really wanted to like this bc the other reviews are so annoying "why is this a must-listen?" "this is just AI-generated 80s pop" like um it is quadruple plat in the US?? OF COURSE this feels like 80s pop BC IT WAS POPULAR IN THE 80S AND A HUGE HIT.
Anyway I still didn't like it lol
Oh heck ya I love Abba; the random band that is so different from my usual taste.
Yeah it's an easy 5 star no question
I was kinda dreading listening to this based off of judging the album cover, but I really really enjoyed this! Phenomenal saxophone. Banana Split for my Baby was weird as fuck tho
I've always disliked Another Brick in the Wall pt 2 bc I hate kids choirs in songs it always sounds so terrible.
This is so boring I really am not enjoying this....still have the disc 2 to go....and I was pretty excited about this one to bc I have never taken the time to listen to their discography...
The Trial was cool, probably would've been better if I listened to lyrics, but alas I am not a lyric person.
Thank god this was only 30 min
I have two friends that really like this band, but I've never put time into checking them out. This was pretty good, I'm just not really into the "indie" sound. I imagine that this is good for lyric lovers UNLIKE ME ONCE AGAIN. Anyway yea
I don't wannnaaaaaaaaa listen to thissssss.... I'm only 4 songs in and it's so weird and creepy.
Dancing in the Dark is the only good song. Thank god im done tho
I know the first song from Rock Band lolol
Okay I only listened to the first 9 songs which is why I will give this a neutral rating. I actually did not hate it as much as I thought it would, but I will not rate any higher because the premise of this album is so ridiculous I cannot be bothered to listen to any more than what I did.
Honestly not terrible, but boring after the first few songs. Feels like pep band music with bongos instead of quads, and I don't necessarily mind being someone who played in pep band back in the day.
All songs sound the same to me
