Classic jazz album, good for a relaxing evening or cocktail hour vibes. Feel like I still prefer brass jazz though but really good live performances still! A 3 because I see its merit but not super my style
Such a groovy and funky album!!
Wanted to like this more but I think there were too many songs that I felt indifferent about
Production on this is great, def see its merit
Liked this more than I thought I would but still a little bit too bland for me? Also didn’t love when he tried to be bluesy
Preferred the first half to the second but not sure I’d listen to these songs regularly
Liked quite a few songs on this but the production sounded a bit muffled? Still a pretty solid album though
Went into this knowing nothing and some of the songs were so fun!! Didn’t love the middle section of the album but I definitely see its merit as an electronic/dance-pop album from the 90s
Such a warm and cozy album, perfect for Christmastime! While some songs were a bit too slow or “old fashioned” for me I still think this is a great album
Really liked this a lot actually, very mystical and relaxing. I also think listening to Gypsy Woman from the lens of a jam session helps justify its length
A little too experimental for my tastes, couldn’t get through any of the songs
Just didn’t really stand out to me. Very few songs that I think I’d come back to
Stevie Wonder so it’s a classic, love the basslines and the overall groove
Loved a bunch of songs on this, really liked the Latin rock/jazz fusion
Didn't love the opener or closer but the midsection had some songs I'm definitely going to revisit, really liked this
Hated his voice but brass was great
Liked this a lot even though I never have any idea what they’re saying
Not for me
