Decent, not great pop. Incredible voice, but not a lot of substance past that. 3

Little cheese, not much substance musically, lyrics are mid. Second song was kinda cool. Everything else jus blended together into boring 80s indie rock. 2

First song gotta get up is 🔥. Driving along lyrics are top notch. Without you - sounds like Elton John. Coconut sounds like Ween. Can’t believe this is where Gumbrose got Jump into the Fire. The outro to this song is extended bliss.

Super weird photo goth rock, but it made me want to listen again

Really digging this right from the start. Fiddle and mando players rip. Singer has a great voice. Has a classic sound reminiscent of The Band.

Title of the album hits close to home rn. Even though the album is dripping in classic 90s vibes, I also find Blur's sound to be pretty timeless Brit pop rock.

Even though Kanye went crazy and fell off, this album is a straight classic. We wasn’t supposed to make it past 25, jokes on you we still alive!

Nothing really needs to be said about this one, a definitive album of the 90s and an entire generation. The ultimate protest album.

Legendary album. Wu Tang might have the most unique and distinguishable styles of any of the OG rap greats.

Might lowkey be my favorite Talking Heads album. Cities, Life During Wartime, Heaven... Plus all the lesser known gems like Mind and Drugs.

Enjoyed this way more that I thought I would. Super solid British pop. Simple but catchy. Great vocals. First song Show Girl got me hooked from the beginning.

Classic album from a legendary band. Birdland is a song that will be forever ingrained in my memory from all the times I heard SCI cover it.

Really solid proto punk. Softer, catchier, and way better use of instruments than punk. Almost sounds like the talking heads at times in a weird way.
