The classic ‘nam song
Weird WW1 song that is haunting and out of place but maybe my favorite
Welcome to the working week rules
Watching the detective too
Overall classic, but probably only going to relisten to those singles
Hard to find this version
Blueberry hill is a classic
Ain’t that a shame too
I fell asleep at first but later appreciated it more.
A little grittier and more soul than the later commercial stuff.
Can tell why American girl got picked as the single, much more poppy than the rest of the album.
Lowkey but good singles. Gets a lil extra on the wacky lyrics in others
Good stuff
Catchy jazz, did not expect to listen to it as much as I did
I’ve listened to this at least 10 times and I forget most of it immediately after. Not a bad thing I guess but nothing sticks, kind of like a sound bath. Thom yorke needs to eat his spinach
Some catchy classic tracks but not my steez.
Probably heard Only the good die young too many times.
It’s alright - sometimes the fake Englishman blues act can get a bit played out.
Couple classic tracks tho, sound good on openback headphones.
First album I only listened to once - not my style.
Can see where stoner metal comes from.
It’s weird, I feel like I should like it more than I do - I think there's too many tempo changes and hippie asides that pull away from the main groove for me.
Also was a period of time where stuff felt… medieval? Like I could see some of these in hobbitton.
Love Blondie.
First time I’ve paid attention to the lyrics, feels kind of like how the Police had stalking songs, and this is from the female perspective.
Super dense, I’ve listened to the whole thing and repeated sections for this project. George is the best beatle I think.
Some good ones but for some reason it feels like homework.
Good, expanded version the album feels a bit self indulgent though.
I feel like Nobuo Uematsu really liked prince.
Can tell their influence on Radiohead
Good and chill. I didn't realize how jazzy steely dan was, all I heard were the hits.
I only knew Genesis with Phil Collins as lead, this was interesting to hear Gabriel's vocals. A bit too proggy for me, but worth hearing.
This kind of jazz isn’t my thing it seems.
Can see where a lot of bands got some influence. Some Jawbreaker sounding songs!
Band is good
Corgan is not
back to liife back to realitee
I'm sure it's great but not for me
Can see where a lot of modern goth bands get their sound
Excellent production but the songs aren’t my thing
Really curious why this is in the list, but hey.
Originally turned it off but revisited and found there were some good boomer tunes in here.
Great but not my favorite Zep
Some good tracks, but not cohesive and a bit annoying to boot
It’s like reading a whiney post online that doesn’t have punctuation or a coherent thought like this one and Morrissey can eat it
If I was on psychedlics and I had a lot of time, I'd be into this
This is the kinda stuff I started following this project for. Hell yeah
