Jacques BrelNot my favourite genre, but undeniably a classic. I prefer the crispness and clarity of his voice in the studio recordings to the raspiness of the live performance, but that's to be expected.

An album that remains relevant today. I was surprised by how many songs I recognized, even though I had never listened to the full album before. Its smooth sound suits a variety of settings
While there are some good moment, most pieces feel repetitive and dragged-out for no clear reason. Might have been revolutionary back in the day, however did not find it enjoyable. Wonโt listen again.
Mostly forgettable in my opinion. Very โgood oleโ daysโ American, when everyone in popular music was white and assumingely straight.
Mostly forgettable and unremarkable, with the occasional odd moment and awkward transitions. Some songs sound half-finished, mixed with randomly recorded snippets the producers didnโt know what to do with, so they left them as is. While good art is meant to provoke questions, this album just makes you go โhuh?โ
Smooth, relaxing sounds. Not a fan of instrumental jazz music, but I could definitely imagine this being played in the background while having dinner or hosting friends.
