Olympia 64
Jacques BrelNot my favourite genre, but undeniably a classic. I prefer the crispness and clarity of his voice in the studio recordings to the raspiness of the live performance, but that's to be expected.

An album that remains relevant today. I was surprised by how many songs I recognized, even though I had never listened to the full album before. Its smooth sound suits a variety of settings
While there are some good moment, most pieces feel repetitive and dragged-out for no clear reason. Might have been revolutionary back in the day, however did not find it enjoyable. Won’t listen again.
Mostly forgettable in my opinion. Very “good ole’ days” American, when everyone in popular music was white and assumingely straight.
Mostly forgettable and unremarkable, with the occasional odd moment and awkward transitions. Some songs sound half-finished, mixed with randomly recorded snippets the producers didn’t know what to do with, so they left them as is. While good art is meant to provoke questions, this album just makes you go “huh?”
Smooth, relaxing sounds. Not a fan of instrumental jazz music, but I could definitely imagine this being played in the background while having dinner or hosting friends.
First time listener. I like it, can’t pinpoint the reasons why.
Run-of-the-mill mellow 80s pop.
The combination of the smooth sound and the critical, harsh lyrics is sublime.
Not my cup of tea
Sometimes I don’t understand the purpose of this project
Meh
One of the best pop albums of the 80s, Lauper cleverly reimagines material by other artists, adding her own spin to create a result that is consistently enjoyable and stands the test of time.
Not my cuppa.
Some tracks were somewhat enjoyable, while others were unbearable. Overall, the album felt repetitive and overly long. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more in the right setting, but since I'm not a party boy, it's a 2/5 for me.
I liked some songs, but not so much the others. I get that some album are “atmosphere” albums, but I guess that specific one is just not the right atmosphere for me
Very 60s. Personally not a fan, but no fault either.
Live albums are not my thing. I’m sure it’s one experience to be there or even watch on tv, but another completely to just listen to monologues with no visual aids.
One word. Awkward. Perhaps I lack the relevant cultural background, but there wasn’t a single aspect I enjoyed or could relate to.
