Play by Moby
Jul 22 2025
A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Jul 23 2025

Although I enjoyed this on my first listen, it's taken me a few more spins to come to fully appreciate the album. One can hear her R&B-influenced singing, and many of these songs are covers and originally done by female black singers. She adds British pop spin to the songs. For what it is, it's a great record.

Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix
Jul 25 2025

To think this was their debut album. Though many call it a psychedelic album, I never thought of it as such. Even listening to it today, it was amazing what he could do with a guitar. It was and still is an album to listen to in its entirety.

Moving Pictures by Rush
Jul 29 2025

A classic album. First heard it back around 40 years ago, as Tom Sawyer was constantly played on the radio. It still shows Rush as accessible, technical, epic, and lyrically clever, just like their previous albums combined.

Dig Your Own Hole by The Chemical Brothers
Aug 06 2025

Though not a fan of techno music, I heard this album when it was first released, and loved the beats. I just cannot explain why. Maybe the voice snippets, maybe it being more "pop" techno than other bands, but I could listen to this often.

Grace by Jeff Buckley

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg

Not what I had expected when I initially listened to the record. Expected a traditional gangsta style rap, but this was different. Very soulful and melodic.

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
Aug 20 2025

A classic! The only sad thing is that the bassist died soon after, and we can only wonder what else they may have produced.

Aug 22 2025

I remember listening to this decades ago on vinyl and how side A was completely different than side B. Overall, a good listen, but not something I put on repeat.

The La's by The La's
Aug 24 2025

Enjoyed the music but not the vocals and lyrics. It would have been great if it were an instrumental album.

25 by Adele
Aug 25 2025

Just a beautiful voice.

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Aug 30 2025
Arise by Sepultura
Sep 03 2025

Don't mind the music, but I prefer singing rather than listening to yelling.

Ys by Joanna Newsom
Sep 04 2025

Unfair for me to rate the album as folk is not my genre.

Snivilisation by Orbital
Sep 05 2025

Not an everyday album for me. Nice beats

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Sep 06 2025

Outside of Another Brick in the Wall, I cannot stand this band. Waters a bit too egotistical for me. Only tolerate this when I was smoking.
