I respect this album more than I enjoy it. "Stan" is a deserved classic, and I appreciate the theme of the album reflecting on fame, persona, and influence. It's very thoughtful in that way. But some of the over-the-top graphic violence, particularly targeting women, is very hard to listen to.

It's fine! Why is it on this list? Most of these are perfectly adequate covers of standards.

I like this album, except there is only so much sax and organ I can listen to before I get itchy.

Clear high voice and piano, very lovely. Melodies are somewhat disjointed, harmonies have clear jazz influence

"Worlds Apart" is saving this album from 1*. Otherwise, it's probably better understood in its context as a mourning album, and should be removed from this list.

Not an album of sea shanties

I would like this album better if it were about 45 minutes of its best material.

Nobody date these men. I'm disappointed that a band with such an awesome name has such mediocre music.

Why is this album so weird about women? Make it stop. I really want to overlook this and not let it impact the rating, but there is too much of it; I cannot.

Enjoyable, if not overly memorable

The extended version is actually better than the regular cut for once! All the best tracks are bonus tracks
