1001 Albums Summary

Very 70's.

Meh.

You can have agressive, harsh, raw music without being trash. This was just trash.

Kind of cheesy. And like most cheese after 4 decades, it didn't age well.

Some classics in there but not my style. Some lyrics are icky. Ballad-wise, King Crimson did it better.

Good, but many of the songs sound the same.

2.5 stars rounded up thanks to Tainted Love. Rocky Horror Picture Show vibes.

I discovered a new level of awful. Probably called "Duck Stab" because it's as melodious as a duck being stabbed.

Feel-good music.

I tried. The less country songs aren't that bad, but the majority are.

I recognize the importance they have had for the rock scene, but I don't enjoy their music.

Interesting. Appropriate soundtrack for a movie depicting a soldier's post-WW2 delirium.

Obsessed with those theatrical Miss Piggy Vibes - you can even hear her in the back vocals (just listen to the first track again).

Français en tabarnak (je sais, je sais; il est né belge). Points for the poetry, and that's about it.

Extra star for Pastime Paradise and Isn't She Lovely

I liked the first track, and the more jazzy tracks, but overall I am unlikely to listen to this album again.

Did not enjoy any of those tracks.

Eerie vibe, beautiful voice.

Old metal, kinda corny. 3.5 rounded up (especially compared to most of the albums so far). Particular<3 to the riff in Breaking The Law
