1001 Albums Summary

I didn’t really expect to like this but I found it really easy to listen to and enjoyed it! I already knew some songs but most were new to me and I think I’d definitely listen to this again. I give it 3.5 stars but I’ll round up to 4 😊

Listening to the whole album it was kind of samey but Ready or Not is SUCH a good song. The standout of the album for me.

Not something I’d really listen to but can appreciate it for what it is. Listened to it whilst doing some housework and kind of felt like I was in a movie 😂

I remember trying really hard to get into this as a teenager and I just couldn’t but I actually enjoyed this listen. Too long though, 2 hours was a bit too much to properly get into it. 3.5 stars.

Some of the second part of this sounded a bit like a drunk guy at the back of a bar with a karaoke machine. Some of it was okay but it was long and I don’t have the urge to listen to any more!

This was fun although I feel like once you’ve heard one song you’ve heard them all. Had this album when it came out. Have to say I think it’s very self indulgent - some of the songs just go on for too long 😂 but it was fun and Cry Me a River is a banger

For some reason Spotify only played 1 song that was 4 minutes long, not the 1 hour 18 minute album I was expecting. This was a relief as those 4 minutes were utter garbage.

Quite likes this, it was like “cool” background music. But I did get a little bit bored towards the end…

Some songs were quite nice and mellow easily listening but some were a bit… warbly? The way he sang was a bit weird at times.

A bit too long but enjoyed the listen.
