Solid album. Definitely appreciate the more ambient feel compared to OK Computer.
Another solid album. Early 90s hip hop at its absolute best. Not an album I would have on repeat but definitely some songs to add to the favorites list.
This artist was new to me. Super enjoyable. Easy listening.
Such a fun listen start to finish. The singles are the standouts but fun and historically important album.
New to me. Super fun and easy listening.
The guitars really make this one.
I love R.E.M. so of course this gets a high rating. Not one of theirs that I’m as familiar with (besides Stand) but I love the emotional draw of the whole album.
Found the first half decent background music. Solid beats but nothing over the top. Turned it off when I learned of allegations against the artist.
I wasn’t too locked in for this listen but it was solid rock for the background of my morning. Probably my first time listening to a Bee Gees album start to finish.
Solid music but not terribly memorable for me.
Nice album. No standouts for me. Just good listening.
I expected to know more songs on this than I did. Still a nice listen but not a lot really drawing me in.
It’s not Kinda Blue, but it’s still a great listen.
Kicks off with a hit from Pulp Fiction and keeps its energy throughout.
Great hits and solid tracks in between. Elvis Costello is a constant favorite of mine.
First country album of this list for me. Feels homey and nostalgia to me.
No big hits like a Byrds album but all the same vibe.
I hear a lot of Joni Mitchell here but with a bit more liveliness (less depressive).
Some surprise covers and a few notable singles. Enjoyable.
Such a strong opening trio. Realized I love GM more than I thought.
I appreciate that the Dead paved the way for Phish but there’s a lot more noise and cacophony than I might prefer
I was in a bad mood when I listened so I might have scored it low. I appreciate the drama and showmanship. I just was somehow not getting into it. Perhaps it’s not a first thing in the morning album.
Once I got over the idea that this “recent” Beck album was 20 years old, I really got into it. Beck carries with him a certain something 90s kids love.
Strong early 00s indie rock vibes. Reminds me of the Long Winters - who were probably inspired by this music.
Strong start but I lost interest as it went along. Solid 3.
Perfectly enjoyable with the infamous “Freebird” finish.
Classic album. Solid beats and vibes.
Solid listen, nice guitars. Curious if this is one of their more iconic albums. Not any stand outs for me.
A longer album (at least on Spotify). More my vibe than a lot of what I get but the album stayed around longer than I needed.
I know it. I love it. It doesn’t get old.
Very Eno. Easy to listen to but not mind blowing.
This album is so compelling it just sneaks into 4 for me. I love her voice and the composition of these songs.
Good enough to make me want to check them out more seriously.
She’s a queen for a reason.
There are a lot of excellent tracks here. One that I found unsettling but overall solid.
I wanted to hate this for who Kanye is today but there’s just no denying that this is a fantastic, layered album start to finish.
Super fun and easy to get into.
I wish I had spent more time with this as a teenager. I had too much bias against Courtney Love and, well, women to really appreciate it. I’m going to come back to this one.
I love Eno and this one shows why.
My favorite album by a band I really love.
This album is such a great experience. The vocals are so smooth and each track is compelling in its own way. Beats and vibes for days.
Vincent and American Pie are the real stand outs but the album is solid start to finish.
Lots of fun sounds here. I love his voice and think I could listen to him sing the phone book.
This album is my childhood. So many good ones - dated in terms of some gender issues but still so fun.
Solid music, no real stand outs for me.
I love Tom Waits and this was a new listening experience for me. I was hooked start to finish.
I just couldn’t get into it. I’m sure it’s fine but not my vibe right now.
Maybe I would think it’s great on another day. I just couldn’t get through it this time.
What a title for three years before he was killed. It’s solid 90s themes; I love Biggie’s rhyme structure. Yet this one sticks around longer than I need it to.
I really enjoyed this album. Did I enjoy it more because I know it’s one my good friends’ favorites? Probably. It feels vaguely of childhood and, unlike a lot of albums I get here, didn’t outstay its welcome.
Heartfelt, maybe even heartbreaking in places. Her voice is so powerful I forget it’s not the only thing happening on the record.
Not one I would put on regularly but I can recognize it’s good music.
Some classics on this one for sure. It’s solid start to finish but I’m just not the hugest fan.
Famous, delightful and fun. I’d it my favorite Beatles album? No. Is it solid? Yes.
It’s easy to listen to, but not something I would reach for regularly.
This one really built momentum as it went for me. About midway through I really locked in and enjoyed it.
I’ve loved this one a long time. It used to be the album I listen to to unwind and fall asleep.
