The songwriting is really good, but the songs sound rather depressing and maybe a little repetitive.

Frank Sinatra
3/5
I think this album is not badly produced and the vibe is indeed 'swingy'. For me personally it's a little to monotonous and bland, though.
Aphex Twin
3/5
The album is not particularly bad, I actually really enjoyed some of the tracks. But others were a little to buzzy, noisy and shrill for my liking.
Nirvana
4/5
I really appreciate the mix of covers and their own songs on this album. The raw performance, the instrumentation and the vocals sound amazing and fit the songs perfectly.
Dr. Dre
3/5
I honestly think, this album might be a little overrated. There’s far more interesting and versatile hiphop-albums. It’s not bad, but just a little bland. The beats bang, tho👍
Violent Femmes
2/5
I personally didn’t really enjoy this album. This type of music is just not my favourite.
Thelonious Monk
3/5
It’s a good jazz album, but I’m not really into jazz, especially jazz without any lyrics.
Songhoy Blues
3/5
It was really nice to listen to it, I liked the language and the funky sound .
Beastie Boys
2/5
It’s not really my cup of tea and I would only listen to it ironically, to be honest. Some of the songs are ok, others are quite annoying, in my opinion.
Youssou N'Dour
3/5
Good beats, vibes and instrumentation. The songs are a Little to long for my likening, tho.
Elton John
4/5
Amazing lyrics, great instrumentation and catchy, dreamy melodies. Amazing album, a little long, but thats ok
Baaba Maal
2/5
It’s not the music I’d normally listen to, but it sounds good. The instruments sound cool and so does the language
The Beach Boys
4/5
Many huge bangers, but also some songs that didn’t really stand out that much
Belle & Sebastian
3/5
Low-key vibes👍 cool concept
Radiohead
4/5
Cool vibes album stuffed with bangers
Dexys Midnight Runners
3/5
Actually this album is quite a vibe and it sounds exactly like what you’d expect an english Pop rock, new wave-ish band to sound like
Dirty Projectors
2/5
I didn’t really enjoy listening to this album. It’s not as bad as a one star album, but it isn’t worth three stars, either. It’s just not my cup of tea. The vocals are kinda shrill and none of the songs really stands out, neither lyrically, nor melody-wise.
Santana
3/5
Nothing I would really listen to on a daily basis, but it’s super vibey and the instrumentation is great.
ZZ Top
2/5
It’s not a bad album, I just don’t really listen to this type of music. From my point of view all the songs sound kind of similar and follow a similar pattern.
Massive Attack
3/5
Very cool album. It’s not really my kind of music, but I still have to admit, that the songs sound great.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
2/5
I personally find some songs a little "bering“. The intros are pretty long and many songs sound really similar.
The Strokes
3/5
Some of these songs are indie-Rock-classics, others are less memorable.
New Order
3/5
Many songs are really catchy and it’s a good example of a post-punk, poppy album. But it’s nothing I would listen to on a daily base. Maybe I’ll start listening to this genre more, thanks to this album.
Radiohead
4/5
One of radioheads best albums, stuffed with bangers. The songs on this record are pretty various, compared to other albums I’ve listened to, so far. Great vocals, melodies and instrumentation. The songs all have a good length and are built interestingly.
Queen
3/5
Nothing toooooo special about this album. Still, it’s Queen, with their amazing, distinctive patterns and vocals. I just wouldn’t listen to this album on a daily basis.
Rufus Wainwright
2/5
It’s really not my cup of tea. The songs sound to poppy and whiny for my liking. They all sound kind of similar to each other, therefore the album isn’t that diverse.
Sly & The Family Stone
2/5
It’s not really my type of music and therefore I would normally give this a 1 or a 2 max. It’s really well produced, tho. It sounds funky and cool. So 2.5 stars
The Allman Brothers Band
2/5
The guitars really carry this album haha. It’s a live album, which I don’t have a problem with, but for me personally the songs are maybe a little boring. Cool guitar skills, tho.
The Kinks
4/5
This album might be a little long for my liking, but most of the songs are really cool. I’d say, most of the tracks sound really 60s-like. I really appreciate 60s music, therefore I enjoyed listening to this record. It’s sounds fresh and interesting and I think it might get me into The Kinks a little more.
The Isley Brothers
3/5
Cool, funky album. Not really my cup of tea, though. Still gotta appreciate the good, sunny vibes this album brings.
Abdullah Ibrahim
3/5
It’s not the best jazz album ever, but it’s not bad either. Some songs sounded amazing, others sounded a little to powerful and poppy, for my liking.
The Velvet Underground
3/5
There's some all time classics on this album, but also some rather "mid" ones.
Robert Wyatt
2/5
The instrumentals of some songs sound ethereal and you feel like you’re levitating, then the gibberish-sounding vocals come in. Wouldn’t really listen to it again, just not my cup of tea. At least there’s kind of a concept to the album: dreamy sounds and artsy elements.
Leonard Cohen
2/5
The songwriting is really good, but the songs sound rather depressing and maybe a little repetitive.
Judas Priest
2/5
Not at all my cup of tea, but some songs were partly decent and the album was recorded at Ringo’s house.
Cream
3/5
It’s not a bad album in any sense, but it doesn’t really stand out, either. After listening to the album, I can only remember "Sunshine Of Your Love", which is a bangers
The KLF
2/5
Nothing I would purposely listen to, but it’s giving 90s vibes(or at least I think so).
Ladysmith Black Mambazo
1/5
I really wanted to like this album, but, unfortunately I don’t. The chanting and voices sound incredible, but the songs don’t really change its patterns. They all sound similarly boring.
The Rolling Stones
3/5
I‘m honestly not a big stones fan and this album was rather mid. Some songs are quite a banger others are just meh.
The Who
4/5
Bangers, bangers and some more (more rather mid) bangers. The first and last songs are by far the best, the songs in the middle are ok, too. Not 5-star-level-good, but not 3-stars-mid either.
Funkadelic
3/5
It’s indeed really funky and the instrumentation and voices are amazing. I find it kinda cool, that, apparently, the only way you can listen to this album, is either via YouTube ore physical media. Makes it feel special to listen to it.
Genesis
2/5
It’s kinda mid. No song really stood out.
Queen
3/5
Not the best album out there, but I can listen to it, without wanting to throw up 👍
Air
3/5
It’s this kind of album, which sounds incredibly cool and unique, but you know you won’t find the right "occasion“ to listen to it again.
Femi Kuti
3/5
The Songs sound really warm and Sunny. They vary in Patterns and vibes, so the Album doesnt get boring. The Songs are partly a little to long for me to enjoy, tho.
Amy Winehouse
3/5
Her voice is so powerful and strong. Some of the Songs have quite a acoustic vibe to it, which i really appriciate.
Harry Nilsson
3/5
The songs sound relaxing and the instrumentation is beautiful.
Cocteau Twins
4/5
Stevie Wonder
3/5
Some songs are kind of on the boring side, and then there's bangers like Superstitions.
Led Zeppelin
3/5
I'm probably one of the few people worldwide, that find led zeppelin kind of overrated. Same's for this album. Of course we have all time classics like Stairway To Heaven, but most of the other songs sound kinda generic. Maybe it's due to me lack of appreciation for Led Zeppelin, but I couldn't really enjoy listening to this album.
Joni Mitchell
2/5
All the songs kind of sound the same, but they don't sound bad, just a lot like poetry being read out loud.
Pulp
2/5
I personally think Pulp, as a britpop band, cant compete with oasis or blur. Some of these songs barely even sound like britpop. The singing, the lyrics, the soungs in general... not really my cup of tea.
Johnny Cash
3/5
I'm not much of a johnny cash listener, but this was an extremely good live performance.
Slade
1/5
Even though that genre not my cup of tea at all, I normally would be open and listen to the album without any negativ opinions or thoughts beforehand. But this was just bad, sry.
The Who
2/5
After listening to this album I feel confused. Why did they throw random jingles in and what is going on in general. I wouldn't say it deserves only one star, but...
Leonard Cohen
2/5
Great acoustic guitar in the back. Sounds depressing
Crosby, Stills & Nash
3/5
Beautiful harmonies, cool 60s sound and just chill vibes in general. Some songs are more memorable than others
Supertramp
3/5
Frankly, the songs are kind of boring. It's not a bad album, but neither is it something I'd listen to again. Just too mid.
Waylon Jennings
3/5
country
The Rolling Stones
3/5
honestly kinda mid
Lauryn Hill
3/5
Beatiful voice, amazingly funky and light melodies and rhythm, but it's nothing I would really listen to again (or at least 80% of the record isn't).
Talking Heads
3/5
Groovy sound, cool beats and voices and crazy, crazy good basslines. I'm quite strict with my ratings and gave some of my favourite albums only 4 stars. This isn't close to any of my favourite albums, but it's surprisingly good.
Sam Cooke
4/5
Amazing voice, amazing vibes. Nothing to add, just all in all a great performance.
Yes
3/5
holy basslines, but the rest's kinda mid
FKA twigs
2/5
i love the ethereal sounding parts, but then it always get ruined with this corny coworker 2014 sound. All in all, the album is a mixture of beautiful ethereal singing, bad shoegaze and annoying coworker music.
Bob Dylan
3/5
Some songs might be a little long, but all in all; bangers. 3.5 stars, id say
Kraftwerk
3/5
I've never really listened to Kraftwerk, but this album was surprisingly good. It has this certain electronic vibe, but still has cool lyrics. Also, this came out in 1978, what?! But for me it might not quite be a 4-star-album, 'cause im always to critical. But it's close to being one.
Bert Jansch
3/5
Holy mid. Like the vibes, tho and the guitar sounds crisppppp
Billie Holiday
2/5
Not my cup of tea. Beautiful melodies, but a little repetitive and I’m not a big fan of the voice, either (sry)
Run-D.M.C.
3/5
Actually kinda tuff, just not my type of music. Still appreciate it, tho
Radiohead
4/5
Just beautiful. All the songs fit perfectly together and listening to them one by one is an experience of its own.
Kendrick Lamar
3/5
I’m honestly not reallyyyyy into hiphop, but this album wasn’t half bad
Deep Purple
3/5
Nothing toooo special about this
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
3/5
Everything sounds kinda alike
The United States Of America
3/5
I love the chaotic vibes. It’s a little long tho
Pavement
3/5
Some of the songs are not half bad, some others are just rather annoying

3/5
Actually quite nice.
Public Image Ltd.
2/5
not really my cup of tea
Gotan Project
2/5
Just fancy backround jingles
