I was a little taken aback when this was my first album given since it’s a compilation album. Ella Fitzgerald has a beautiful voice with a lot of emotion to it. Made me feel nostalgic for a time I didn’t live in.

A classic. Here Lauryn Hill displays so much versatility. Its a soulful album that can be fun, cool and emotional. Also, its a very influential album. A lot of other artists have so many samples from this album alone.

Just a perfect, classic jazz album. The title truly does fit. Its a love letter to Jazz.

The College Dropout by Kanye West

Classic Kanye. He used to make such bright music. Soulful yet fun. It feels dated but in a good way.
