Honestly? A 5. Great variety. Amazing production. Pretty moving lyrics. I am not crazy about stones but I can't find anything meaningful wrong with this album outside of mild criticisms

hey i love green onions it is an instrumental album and definitely of the time. culturally significant. im a sucker for instrumental stuff. hard to review something like this in modern context. ill just say four stars.

amazing but a little drawn out at times. I agree with other ppl I think this can grow to 5 but I will give a 4 for now.

I forgot to review this uhh it is a 3. too bloated but nothing inherently bad.

it alright. i think the last stretch of the album really shines but getting to that point feels like a slog at times. latter half is a high 4 but early parts of this album just a middling 3. if i could get 3.5 i would but i feel more inclined to round down here.

great. the instrumentals vary. the lyrics are just ok to boring at times on some songs but amazing on others -- drags it down to a 4 for me.

yeah I gave up this was just Yorkshire boys yapping and forgetting to play music about halfway during a lot of these songs. I did not find it endearing just discordant and unfocused in a bad way.

the latter half of this album saved it barely from a 2. There are better The Police albums imo. Enjoyable but disappointing.

an admirable but mistaken first album by Daft Punk. Love them but this is a miss for them. Odd RAM or some other album was not on there.

it sounds too Nashvilley, dead and cold for a country album. I have no doubt Steve earle has some absolute banger albums -- but this ain't one of them. Production killed it for me as well.

It should get a 4 from the original mixing but I'm knocking it down to a 3. It is difficult to really grant this higher imo because of the mixing. Instrumentals are legendary but vocals are washed and inclusion of bonus songs doesn't do it favors.

Honestly I have no real criticisms here. It is great and dynamic and yeah here have a 5

this is maybe a 4/5 album with a production quality that sounds like this album is being played through the busted speakers at a dying Hot Topic store. I am used to shitty production and sometimes shitty production is a deliberate choice but...not here.

I don't think I like reggae tbh. I am indifferent to this album. There are some nice instrumentals but not enough to captivate me -- vocals are fine. It is just fine? 3 I guess.

history aside, this album just does not stand as well as other Judas Priest albums afterwards. Outside of a few tracks it hasn't aged too well imo and I just honestly thought if I wanted 70s/80s streamlined metal id rather just listen to KISS. I love Judas Priest but this does not hit.

if I was a middle aged mom this would be awesome unfortunately I'm a man in his late 20s. There is glimpses of a really timeless album here. But it is lost in just odd production choices.

80s futurism hasn't aged too well imo -- but there is like a decent song here and there. I think if you want synth stuff there is just much better options all around now. I respect it but it ain't for me. 2

I'm conflicted. When the songs are good they are really fun and very 80s new wavey. But some songs are like the 80s in all the terrible of ways especially in production. I think a 3 is fair here.

album so good the first song was used for the best videogame trailer ever anyways not much need to be said. It is golden. Listen to it. Some parts were a little slow but not unwelcomed. 5

For 90s alt rock it is good but...I dunno? There is something missing. I am not crazy on Perry's vocals so that might be why. It is by no means bad but i think just this style of alt rock kinda lands flat for me. Still a solid 3.

I'm glad I'm not insane this is the best REM album on this list. Orange Crush is a legendary song. Strange how REM fans rate this as their fifth or seventh album in terms of ranking. It is worthy of a 5

background rock music it is acceptable but nothing exciting. 2.

the last two hidden tracks imo suck so I'm ignoring them as a preface. this album is frustrating. At times it is so so amazing and awesome and then there is like a song or two that feels out of place or just not in flow with rest of album. The secret guest star near the end was very welcomed. I think a 3 is fair 9/11 happened after this album dropped btw

It is beautifully written. No doubt there. Instrumentals are questionable but the vocals are gorgeous. Mr Cohen passed a few weeks after this album was released. Maybe I'm bias for sad stuff like this but last song on it pulled it into a 5 for me.

Good album. "Landfill Indy" naysayers I think are a bit too jaded as this kind of music exploded further in latter 2000s and early 2010s. The production is solid and there is just good quality all around here. I wish for a little bit more though with that being said as some songs were same-ey but not unwelcomed. 4.

sex n objectification stuff aside it is just really cheesy and dated. Maybe I been spoiled by other projects of this time but this is the kind of artist that has a a song in the background of a live action TMNT movie somehow. It just is bad! I couldn't finish it. Giving a 2 as there were some moments of fun production.

I want to like Blur but it is just...missing something. That being said I still enjoyed this album a lot. A 4 is fair here.

This should be a 5 but the censoring and some heckling that could have been cut sadly drags it down a point for me. Otherwise Johnny Cash live is awesome and really highlights his ability to sing and storytell

Are there better Gorillaz albums? Yes. Is this still a 5? Absolutely. It holds up, dynamic and has such a range of sound and talent all around. Very fun and just a good time.
