Would be a great neurological rewire in 76 but 50 years later it doesn't have the kick I was looking for. Not aged as well as some other bangers from the 70s

Strong 4 for me, still holds up really well. Will be making it's way into the running playlist rotation.

Was hoping to hold off on my first 5 star review for a bit but got Michael for day 3. Timeless 👌

Lovely, visual, varied.

A beautiful period in music history. Crackling jazzy samples and people pushing into new territory. Scratches an itch the brain.

Surprised to not enjoy this one very much. I do like a good bit of Bowie but this album didn't hit me the way I was going it would. I feel like I should apologise to someone.

Kate Bush knows how to get down with those out of pocket vocals.

I can understand the Pulp enjoyment but it's not my thing.

Can't fault MJ and it's an iconic album as expected - there's a couple tracks on this one that I come back to. But it doesn't have the oomph of his later albums for me.

Strong 4 still a powerful vibe, will return to this one again.

Enjoyed it as it's very much my type of music. It felt like a bit of a mess at times though, there are stronger albums in the same genre/s from the 70s/80s that ain't on this list.

What a gem of a fine, have not heard this band before but very happy to find some more good Scottish artists, have been listening to more of them since.

Stronger beach boys albums out there I'm afraid, surprised to not enjoy this one that much.

Take On Me elevates this otherwise kind of boring album.

Another one were I appreciate the vibe and how distinctly The Stranglers sound like The Stranglers. However wasn't grabbing me the as much as I wanted.

Through extensive experimentation science has finally created the most neutral rock and roll possible. All other rock and roll bands should be judged as either harder or softer rock and roll than The Black Crows. Very agreeable and inoffensive vibes can't complain

The Joshua Tree is a good album. This isn't The Joshua Tree. The whiplash of going from One Love to the "I spiked your drink" song will haunt me. One Love brings this up from 1 star.

I understand the Talking Heads now. Their music is about the small bigness and the big smallness of life. Also Psycho Killers.

Cannot deny how iconic this album is. Not the type of music I'll choose to listen to but if I've had a couple drinks and some tracks from this album come on then I'm right there baby.

Surprisingly modern sound that has really held up. From what I understand, Deep Purple were one of the early pioneering heavier metal style bands. Defo comes across and found myself headbanging and getting into this one.

First album I've been disappointed to enjoy as Moby was a creepo to Natalie Portman. Damn if it isn't the seminal sound of the early 2000s though

I'm a simple man, I see one of the best Frank Sinatra albums I know what review is coming. Had a great time start to finish, as expected.

Really liked this. Have never listened to this band before but I found myself listening to this album 3 times through yesterday. The range of genres and vibes was excellent. I don't know the technical terms to describe this but everything sounded like it was the perfect volume, vocals, individual instruments etc. Which I feel is quite rare. Excellente

The vital force of rock and roll is strong here. Never properly listened to ZZ Top but I do get it now, great choice of music if you want general rocking goodness

Listening to this again jogged my memory. This is one of the first albums I listened to that made me go "ooh music is cool". Shout out to the Underground club at Edinburgh Uni student union that played this on repeat when I was 17 and couldn't get into any real clubs yet.

Whole lotta love for this band. Eeeeeh. Led Zeppelin was operating on another level, every single weird wee choice just works every time.

Listened multiple times back to back and enjoyed each one. You don't hear tracks like this anymore with weird interesting sample/beat combinations. Some parts genuinely had sample that sounded like a horror film score and it was cool and it worked.

Glad to get a other cool Scottish band recommendation. Very interesting sound but I can tell it's the type of album that will need a couple more listens before I can settle on my feelings. Will be coming back to it.

Very interesting and cool and out there especially for the 60s. I appreciate the vibe but gonna be honest won't be listening again.

Can't complaint about these vibes but, and maybe it's the recording, came through very screechy, volume was all over the place.

Over 2 hours of high quality enjoyment. Longest album I've ever actually listened to end to end. Kicking off with Ennio Morricone was incredible and got me hyped.

Enjoyed greatly. Caught myself praising Allah in the kitchen.

I can understand the Kinks are good and important and I do enjoy the vibe but got to be honest ain't gonna be rocking them by choice.

Some great fun and varied tracks. Real shmoove. Unfortunately, I have no nostalgia for this band so it's another 60s record that I likely won't come back to.

I'm a bit Ella Fitzgerald fan but aside from some Billie Holiday have not spent much time listening to competing vocalists of this era. This was a wonderful wee live album and will most definitely be coming back for more Sarah after this.

Some iconic tracks and I appreciate the fuck the police vibe, but overall the album is around 4 songs about dicks too long

I enjoyed the listening experience, bit of an extra electro Death Cab for Cutie vibe. Unsure why this album has made the list, however. Pretty confident there are a bunch of similar sounding records before and after this one was released. Maybe I'm missing something.

Was looking forward to this one as not listened to much Rod in the past. However, unsure if it was the production/mixing or something but the vocals were just NOT popping. Was not doing it for me. The tracks themselves were also unimpressive. They felt very middle of the road; like they were trying to hit as many expected tropes/pop expectations as possible without committing to one type of genre or vibe. There was nothing I would want to dance to or sing along with or just vibe with. Disappointing.

A fantastic palate cleanse after the disappointing Rod Stewart album. Every song had INTENTION and GIRTH. Great epic sweeping tracks, ambitious instrumentals, everything came together to create a sum greater than its parts. First time listening to Supertramp and will deffo be a regular listener from now on.

Very fun, it's like if Pulp were camper and actually good.
