1001 Albums Summary

this album came out when I was at the end of my twenties and obsessed with '60s garage rock and modern Brit pop. it was fun and kind of bratty and captured perfectly how I felt in that era. I could still happily dance to this entire album.

I love listening to the early Beatles and thinking about how they really tapped into the psyche of teenage girls. it is also always a solid confirmation that pop music has always been kind of stupid but also really fun.

When this album came out it sounded like the future, but now all the synth and robot music definitely sounds retro. It is still a tight, fun. listen and takes me back to alternative dance nights in the mid-80s when I was in high school.
