1001 Albums Summary

Not as stirring or bold as some of the better albums, but mid Stevie is better than most. "Please Don't Go" is the only real standout, has some of the classic Stevie passion. Otherwise, a chill 40 minutes hanging with my good buddy Steve.

Like the rest of the American public, I have gotten more into country music lately, and this is rock-solid, beautiful, melancholy country music.

Can’t tell if I’m being unfair because the first few tracks were so omnipresent in the late 90s and early 2000s or if I’m too familiar with Moby being a douchebag or if I just don’t like these songs that much anymore, but…I don’t know, very few of these do it for me anymore. Used to love it though. Owned it!
