Straight Outta Compton
N.W.A.Fuck, fuck, fucking motherfuck and more fuck.
Fuck, fuck, fucking motherfuck and more fuck.
Like a nice walk in a nice city with familiar traffic noises and the murmur of outdoor cafes. In the middle of all this is the band and sometimes I think that they listened a lot to Talking Heads.
My hangover got even worse from this.
Like if Neil Young goes hardcore punk, very good.
Like a holiday in Africa with extra everything.
Motorsågs-gitarrer, inget för mig ;)
Helt ok, lättlyssnat.
This album is now on my list :)
Very comfortable and easy to listen to.
Very comfortable and easy to listen to.
Not my cup of tea
Ok, easy listening... I give it a 3
I like it, will remember it. That is a sign i heaven, and I buy it if I find it to resonable prices ;)
Good, I like the second half of the album best. The first was to punky ;)
Dreamy, magical and very good
I like it 3+
Experimental industrial music, ok but not something I would buy in the first place.
Like a strange dream that just goes on.
Ett enda långt gnällande.
I like it. You get happy :)
Very good.
My hangover got even worse from this.
This was really good. Like a summer meadow.
Like a nice walk in a nice city with familiar traffic noises and the murmur of outdoor cafes. In the middle of all this is the band and sometimes I think that they listened a lot to Talking Heads.
Springsteen is Springsteen in short.
Funny, I should not like it. But I do. Had it not been for the last song, it would have been a four.
Still one of the best.
Very good, it's now on my want-to-have-list.
Ok.
Interesting though not entirely convincing. However, some tracks are really good.
Well, nothing I will run my legs off to buy.
Pure energy, thanks for that!
Bright, nice, even my mother would have liked it.
Like a holiday in Africa with extra everything.
In the middle of all the industrial noise, there is music that is actually quite good. It will be a four.
🙂 Peaceful Easy Feeling 🙂
A single long transport to the album's best and last song.
Like a light summer rain, much needed and beneficial.
A little sacred feeling over the whole dish. I like it 👍
I sold a power amplifier while I was listening. So, it must have been good.
Not my kind of music 😞
Good.
🙂 Very very good 🙂
I could be without the first record, the two other was good.
🙂 Like a sunny holiday 🙂
Alice, son of a priest... heard it for the first time when I was 17.
😎 Surprising good 😎
Fuck, fuck, fucking motherfuck and more fuck.
😍
🙁 Nothing I will remember 🙁
Some of the strangest I're ever heard. Like a freaked out 70's hippie who came up with an idea to make music.
A favorite from the end of my teenage years. Thanks for reminding me.
Very good.
Thats a good 1968 album 😀
😀 That was a good one 😀
Interesting good and a little bit like scramble punk 😄
Remember when I heard i first time. I was fifteen years and was surprised over the "new sound". It's a very good record 👍
Like if Neil Young goes hardcore punk, very good.
I take it to my hart️ 🎶
I would probably rather invest in the physical Paul's Boutique 😎
This was a good one 😀
Thats my man... and he is a Priest you know 😇
Feels like a experiment.
Good
Amazing, the energy picked up my twenty year old self again 😀
This has been a love affair for a long time.
Ok, a bit low bass though.
A bit like standing and playing pinball games.
A voice to die for.
Good one with three songs who sticks out.
Kempegod.
😎 I'm in with the "in" crowd 😎
I think I have it somewhere on the shelf. And I like it.
If all the songs where audible on Spotify I could have rated this album 😉
Definitely on my list now💪😎🤘
A pretty good album.
The best
Ok, but not more
Some songs are ok.
That was a pretty good one.
Electronic fluff...
Pleasant
Nothing to remember 🙁
Ok... a little muddy.
Classic.
I like this one.
Very reminiscent of the album Prairie Wind which came out in 2005.
I like it 🤘
Bruce is Bruce
Bruce is Bruce
A must for a Pink Floyd fan and also for the stereophonic-sound-freak 😎 And to read, this is good enough. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Piper_at_the_Gates_of_Dawn
This album is on my list to buy now 😄
She did an exclusive Swedish gig on Lisebergs Big Scen 2014 and I regret so terribly that I did not go there 🙁
This one goes up on my list 😘
Thinking of the movie suite Dune and an episode that never seems to end 😘
🤔
Passed me like a whisper at night.
A good one.
Well-polished electropop that works as background music, well, almost elevator music I thought for a while. However, the first notes of "Policy of Truth" stood out and made me listen a little more interested.
Good heavy, I understand why Neil Young wanted them as a comp band. A strange thing about listening (maybe it was something with the voice) made me really long to listen to "She Talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes again. But, that's me.
I love Kinks
Ok, it absolutely works to work with this music in the background.
That was a good one :)
Interesting... I did like it. Thought this not would be my music.
Very good. A funny thing is that several times I thought I heard "I recognize that"... but from completely different songs. I think many have stolen music from this album.
Simply great.
It sounded a little flat at first but it got better so it's a four.
Just a top one 😎
Bob carried on the legacy... makes me want to go back and feel like life has gone by very quickly. Good album that is of course in the collection.
I remember having friends talking about Joy Division back then when it happened. I can now understand why... A great album that I had never heard before. I suspect the "remastering" lifted the sound at least two notches since then.
A good one
Good album... a little strange. Especially since it's not a "mono version" as it says 🥴 Maybe a little flat sound for my taste.
OK, I gave them a chance. Not my type of music... far from it. I actually got this album from a friend, never played it. One of my clients has a "Ramones museum" here in Sweden. A little surprised that the album made it to this list. Where is Lee Clayton's "Naked Child" in that context?
The Kinks.2 I thought for a while. Good album, very experimental. One Day Like This is really good. It gets a four because of that song.
That's when it was popular to have a trembling voice 😎
Finally I got to listen to Björk and She sounds the same all the time...
Not an album I'd run out and buy. Sometimes I wonder about the people who chose the albums for this list.
I remember when I first listened to this album. A bit experimental at the beginning, sounded interesting. At the height of "Family Snapshot" it became really interesting. The rest with Biko as the ending gave a hint of what would happen with Peter Gabriel in the future. Biko made me feel that this was the man for "The Earth's Original People"
