Nice, just, nice.
Enjoyed this one, some vibey songs, especially towards the start of the album. I did get a bit bored as it went on though.
I think I missed my grunge phase growing up! Not my cup of tea...
I'm never sure where to sit with his solo stuff. Christ morissey moans a lot, and there's some dodgy lyrics, but despite that there's a couple of really good songs and I liked this album. Fuck morissey tho!
This was so good! Energetic, boppy music from start to finish. Loved the vibe and Siouxsie's voice, a few songs have gone straight into my halloween playlist.
Way better than I expected 👍🇺🇸
Chef's kiss
Not sure about this one. A bit left field for me (ayyy), but it was great background music to code to. A 2 or 3 for me... Also, is that the macarena!!?!?
Wasn't a fan of the first song or the mumbling, but the album got better as it went on, and overall I enjoyed. Some good tunes!
Buck's face annoys me. 100% certain I could've died without listening to this one.
Most of the songs are so catchy and comical, even if I didn't expect it to be so violent. A great listen.
What an album- some cracking songs and always hits me in the feels. Sooooo gooood!
Some very nice chill vibes, I just found it a bit lukewarm and couldn't get into it.
Ooooo I liked this, gave me Alanis Morissette vibes. Lots of energy, will def come back to this one.
Two in a row! It's been a fun couple of days discovering PJ Harvey. Rid of me is again full of energy and top notch vocals. I found Rid of me louder and more in your face than Dry, and for that reason a little harder to jam with at first, but still great and I am now cemented as a PJ Harvey fan.
Alexa, trigger 'sexy time'.
Oh boi I love this album. There are so many bangers, in fact every single track slaps. It still sounds as great as the first time I heard it. Someday and Modern Age are amazing but Hard to Explain is absolute PERFECTION. All hyped to see them in Spain now
This album was a lot of fun, and Teenage Kicks is very catchy. Some of the songs were annoyingly repetitive, but a good time overall.
Didn't like, though tbf I don't think this was meant to be listened to in the lab at 11am.
Not what I expected from a Madonna album! It had its naff moments, but a few corkers and just generally a good time. I have been singing Ray of light non-stop for the last few days, which might just eek this one to a 4.
Can't stop doing the OOBY DOOBY
This was cool, I liked Vapour Trail and Polar Bear. Didn't strike me as anything special tho
When I saw the cover I feared the worst, but I actually thought this was pretty good! Catchy songs, and though the music was very samey, the stories kept coming. Yeehaw
Reyt good this. 100% biased by nostalgia but there's just so many bangers.
OK this was v good, exactly like I imagined a queen album would be. It did slow down a bit, and nothing else could hit the height of killer queen, but tbf that's a high bar and the album was a lot of fun.
This was nice and chill, but it really did just plod along and I have already forgotten most of it.
Sorry Coop, even with the school's out nostalgia this was crap.
Nah, didn't get this at all. I found autobahn interesting for the first 3 minutes or so...
Thought I'd love this, but it wasn't the easiest listen. Did sound very cool though and points for weirdness.
Good fun a for a while, but overall pretty bland. It just got very samey, slipped down to a 2 by the end.
Revenge of the Led. This was nice and boppy! I'm glad the generator made me listen to Led Zeppelin as I enjoyed this. Again I'm torn between a 3 or a 4, I wish the rating system was out of 10 tbh.
I vibed with this - a relaxed but lively listen with enough variety to be interesting throughout. A good album to play whilst cooking I reckon. Once the album finished a few songs from Supernatural auto-queued and they had exactly the pizazz I think Abraxas was missing tho. A solid 7/10
Started off pretty well, got a bit tedious by the end. Simply Meh
This album ranged from cheesy and repetitive to downright painful to listen to. The vocals really grate on some tracks and in quite a few cases the lyrics are bloody awful. Paint it black was a highlight, but nothing special and it was downhill from there.
Day 5 of isolation: I'm daydreaming of walking along the beach like Chris Martin belting Yellow
Weird but cool album. Doubt I'll listen to it again though.
I really find Alice Cooper's music cringey and bland. It's not awful, and maybe it just hasn't aged well, but another low 2 for me.
Björk is so cool. Some gorgeous songs and such a distinctive voice, but also some dancey bops too.
This is aggressively 60's haha. It's good, just too shrill for me, grated and dragged after an hour.
Not much to add on this one, the hype is deserved. Everytime I listen to Rumours I think it's the perfect album.
A decent album. It's my second Led Zeppelin album, and this one was much louder and rocky. I think I preferred Led III tbh. Kasmir is a powerhouse of a song, and probably the reason this album is on the list. It went downhill from there, though I don’t know if the second half was crap or if I was just too fed up after an hour to give it a chance🙃.
Before this I'd only listened to Fetch the Bolt Cutters and Chloe belting out a few of her other hits around the house, so I had high hopes and was a little disappointed by the album in the end. But her voice is great and full of emotion, and there's some proper bops here. Really enjoyed criminal and shadow boxer especially.
Ehh this was nice and all but pretty dull and dragged at times.
Wasn't a fan to begin with, but the album really grew on me as it went on. Not the easiest listen, but some of the songs really pack a punch and it was a fun chaotic album. High 3
Right from the smooth intro this was goood, very easy listening. Enjoyed Kanye's bits too.
Infectious fun energy throughout!
Not my thing- lots of short forgettable songs and thought the vocals were whiny and garbled. Surgeon's girl was bloody annoying in particular. There was plenty of energy at least and Strange was cool, had some Talking Heads vibes.
I was uncertain at the start, but the album really picked up with Strange love and I was hooked. I really liked the spooky vibes, a great mix of eerie synth sounds and catchy bops.
Some of the skits were annoying, but Biggie is just so so good, and the line 'cleanest meanest penis' earns an instant 4 stars
At its best it was nice chill wannabe Beatles music, at its worst it was mind gardens. It's a decent album, just a bit dull, def doesn’t make any waves. CTA-102 was like the birth of crazy frog
I liked this! Chill vibes and a great voice
Super cool album, v interesting sounds. A bit weird and distorted at times, and some of the guitar bits mean absolutely nothing to me, but overall it was a good time.
Nice chill jazz vibes, excellent background for painting pots.
This album is like a sandwich with two of the Stones' best songs as bread and a load of filler in between. Great tracks, just a meh sandwich overall. Definitely my favourite stones album so far tho.
¡ǝuo sᴉɥʇ pǝʎoꓩuƎ
I will describe every jazz album I like as chill jazzy vibes, and that's what this was. Street life especially slapped tho.
This album was chaotic and noisy and I loved it. It was easy to get lost at times but it sounded great and every song was so different and fun. Cool album art too.
Had some interesting moments, but it was a bit of a chore and I'll probably never listen to this again.
Lauryn is so good, a top notch album with a couple of standout tracks, and we've definitely had worse skits on this list so far.
Genius album with brilliant crazy energy.
Fun energetic record. Some interesting moments and definitely some bops, the vocals do grate on a few tracks though. High 3/Low 4
Bleh, I didn't really get it. I mean it's definitely distinctive, and has its moments (especially the first few songs), but a bit over the top for me.
Yaaaaaaaaaaawn
Wow this was... shit.
This did have it's ups and downs but I really enjoyed this! I am confused tho- is Tommy ok?
I really liked this, nice easy listening with some great tunes. I especially enjoyed Only a fool and Fire in the hole
Wow this album was a big boi. I enjoyed the first half, great energy, and then the second half went so so hard at times, but also had a fair few bizarre and even boring moments. It might be a bit messy and obviously too long, but I've already forgotten everything but the bops, so Hey Ya might drag this one up to a 4
Some great songs, and it's very Queen, but I was a little disappointed tbh, probably just because none of the classics were on this one.
I wish it didn't but his voice just grates me. I miss teenage kicks...
I was surprised by this one, very spacey and cool,
I've always liked their hits but never clicked with Pulp beyond that. Really enjoyed listening to the whole album tho, plenty of bops and some moody stuff too, excellent album high 4.
This was not what I expected the album to sound like given the few pet shop boys songs i know- it was so slooooow. Maybe I was in a bad mood but I couldn't decide if it was interesting or boring tbh. There were some nice moments, and October symphony was a nice break from the sad boi synths, but overall I found this album to be a bit wet.
I think I might just hate country. The thing is this didn't actually sound too bad, but there's something silly about his half-arsed country drawl, not for me.
WOAAAAAAAAHHHHHH
Excellent stuff- was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Lots of chill music with some bops thrown in too.
Smoooth stuff, first two songs slap, it's all pretty fun and different. Not quite the diamond standard but very good
Definitely better than I expected. Still not my cuppa tho, did not make it through the 2 hours shamefully
Good vibes, tho a few songs did give me cheesy xmas song kinda vibes. Cherry-coloured Funk is amazing
After waiting this long for a Bowie album I expected a little bit more tbh. It's a fun album, and Fame is a bop and a half, but some of the songs are a bit crap and his voice can be a little annoying at times (sorry Chloe). I do think the rest of his albums on this list will only get better tho
Well this was a bit different from the other PJ albums. It's moody and floaty and eerie, but so cool and inventive and PJ goes hard on every song. Loved it
Good stuff, didn't love
Whoever this Elton guy is he knows how to write a tune. This is a powerhouse of an album, filled with bangers, charisma, and the best song the muppets have ever bopped to. He has such a fun swagger that even the slow songs are great. My only criticism is that it starts to repeat itself towards the end a bit, but overall I loved this album.
Solid album, Somebody to Love and White rabbit are bangers! Didn't like the slower moments so much
I liked this, cool and a bit weird. Just didn't 100% vibe with it
This was a struggle...
Just brilliant chaotic energy and relentless bops. Will always remind me of lockdown
Some weird vibes, some naff songs, some fairly crap vocals, some odd lyrics and a half decent cover.
Ah MJ, it's mad how many catchy hits are on this album. Fun and a bit silly, the albums is full of bangers, tho some songs made me feel a bit uncomfortable tbh.
oooooOOOOOooooOOOOooo damn she can sing, and it all sounds good, but every single song is so bland and uninteresting. Could be so much better if Mariah stopped breathing down the mic and sung about something
Nothing compares to this album
Really nice slow country music, lyrics are a little dull tho and it's just missing a bit of oomph
Great fun listening to this one, brought up lots of road trip memories with Chloe. Debaser is an epic unhinged start to the album, hooked me straight away, then the album just goes from bop to chaotic bop.
Damn this was pretty good, sounded great and his voice is so smooth and captivating. A high 4
Excellent stuff, loved it
This was a weird vibe, it jumped around from fun to bizarre to downright creepy, great names tho. At parts I was thinking 4, others a 2, so averaging it out to a 3. The vibes ain't nothing but the vibes
I love Kate Bush, didn't love this album tho, probably needs another listen
This was a fun album, lots of good vibes. Good vibrations aside tho nothing really stood out for me. It's a little all over the place, and the acapella oooooo's wear a bit thin after a while. Also vege-tables gave me horrible flashbacks to Mr Bloom's nursery and Sebastien the aubergine
Not bad
This was FANTASTIC
Ladies and Gentleman, I am back. The first song is gorgeous but the whole album was bloody fantastic. I loved the spacey vibes and weird sounds. I found the cd for 4 quid a couple of days after this album was generated, an easy buy and it came packaged like a pill which is cool
A lot of fun and some great bops
Funking good. I might've gotten bored if it wasn't so short, but it's an album about getting groovy on a spaceship, what's not to love
I really vibed with this. It all flows so nicely, each song goes into the next seamlessly. It was all over the place, crazy as a coconut
Pretty cheesy and dull
Enjoyed most of this, definitely a weird and eclectic mix
This slapped! I don't know how they managed to make it so eerie and yet so sexy and mellow, it was like an album of bond films. I loved it, especially glorybox.
Good fun cheesy music
Nice album, lots of lockdown nostalgia, but I agree, it's not quite Folklore is it
Nice vibes
