Paul's Boutique
Beastie BoysA solid 4 for me, really enjoyed it. Quite different from their typical hits. Nice dubs and tight vocal delivery in true beastie fashion.

To me it's a 2. I tried to like it back in the day, listened to it again but still just doesn't resonate. I appreciate musicals so it surprises me that I don't dig it. Not really sure why but it might be the Las Vegas style vocal delivery.
It's a really solid 3. Liked it back in the day but some of it sounds a bit dated now. Excellent musicianship all round though. Roundabout and Mood for a Day always brings a smile to my face.
Only getting a 2 off of this one. Didn't know it back in the day. The first song had my expectations high but the rest just didn't resonate. I appreciate that it moved the genre forward with its dubs and media cuts.
Solid 3. Love the playfully lyrics and delivery with a few classics.
Muddy at his best. Love Johnny Winters slide and production contributions. Breathing new life into the blues in β77. Much respect. 4/5.
80βs dance music for gothic cathedrals. Good stuff but sounds dated at this point. In context with the times it was fresh and exciting. 3/5
Angry, not to my taste, too much power chord grinding. 1/5

A really good listen, Dylanβs lyrics are always killer. 3/5
The Doors are always awesome. 4/5
Better than I expected. Nice voices but just not a pop fan I guess. 2/5
Didnβt know about this album but itβs really great. 4/5
Nothing remarkable in there but pleasant enough. 2/5
Amazing, between Gilbertoβs voice and classical guitar laying down the samba rhythms and Getzs sax itβs just lovely. 5/5
Good vibe but not finding anything outstanding on it, prefer their later work. 2/5

Bad ass. 3/5
Impressive late-career effort. 3/5
The Joshua Tree Nation Monument has inspired so much great music, I love getting my Zen on there. Some real bangers, blew my mind at the time but sounds a bit dated now. 4/5
Curious little album. 1/5
Sounds quite poppy to me but I do like the funk guitar and Latin vibe. Plus it got the wife dancing which is always fun. 3/5
Old school cool. 2/5
Most jazz sounds very random to me. 1/5
Pleasant 2/5
